Located on the upper level guests will enjoy comfortable living and stunning sea views over the Clyde Estuary and beyond. This is a wonderful base for families, friends or couples looking to explore the Cowal Peninsula, the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and further afield. A haven for the outdoor enthusiast. The spacious living room features comfortable sofas, central heating and large window views to maximise the breath-taking sea views. A lovely room to enjoy cosy nights in after a day exploring. For entertainment there is a Smart TV with Freeview and Wi-Fi. The well equipped kitchen is spacious and modern with a breakfast bar, a range master electric/gas cooker and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. The region has an abundance of fresh produce on it's doorstep to encourage guests to experience delicious local foods. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room with a dining table seating up to six persons. High chair available. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer for the convenience of longer stays. There are three well appointed bedrooms featuring quality furnishings and bed linen. All bedrooms can be converted from a King-size bed to two single beds. Guests are requred to request bedding configuration at time of booking. Bedroom 1: King-size bed, ensuite bathroom, dresser, wall hangers, bedside tables, sea views Bedroom 2: King-size bed, wall hangers, bedside tables Bedroom 3: King-size bed or double, dresser, wall hangers, bedside table The family bathroom features a shower over bath, vanity, heated towel rails and toilet. The Master ensuite features a walk-in shower, handbasin and toilet. Pedals and Paddles is community owned and all profit benefits the local community in Innellan. No parties or events are allowed. Guests have access to the esplanade and shoreline where you can explore and enjoy the coastal views. Ideal for long walks, launching your canoe or paddle boat, or simply watching the ever-changing sea views and boats passing by. You may even catch glimpses of local wildlife. Pedals and Paddles is the perfect base to explore this spectacular region. You will find a welcoming pub and restaurant 50 yards from the apartment and a local shop directly below. The township of Dunoon is only a 10 minute drive offering a selection of coffee shops, craft shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Visit local attractions including the Benmore Botanic Gardens, Argyll Forest Park, and historic Kilmun. The region is filled with places to see and things to do. The area is one big outdoor playground. Take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more. Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll's Secret Coast, take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart, or visit historic Inveraray. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. Free on street roadside car parking is available. Your well behaved dog is welcome, £20 per pet, per stay (maximum 2). The community is very welcoming - the shop, the hotel and the pub along with people coming and going. Easy parking and regular ferries if coming from the South or East, Easy cycling for miles both left and right and more challenging nearby. Kayaking and sailing are very popular all around the peninsula, lochs and firth. The bus service is regular and runs early to late. A very comfortable place to stay and much to do, visit and enjoy. The views are magnificent. We found the hotel nest door to be welcoming and reasonably priced, and the general store underneath very convenient. Altogether just about perfect! Small criticisms - there is very little space to hang clothes and a shortage of hangers. Also I have never known such a heavy duvet and we had a heatwave. We stayed here in June and again in September. This is a spacious and spotless flat, in an ideal location on the waterfront with fabulous views. It has everything you need for a restful and peaceful break with the handy community shop directly below. We met Caroline who was extremely lovely and helpful and delivered the new wifi. Below the apartment is a small supermarket that sells all the essentials plus local produce. Next door is The Osborne Hotel, beautiful food would highly recommend especially Sunday Roast (must book in advance if you want to get a space). 2 minute walk to the Royal Bar which also sells food and food to take away! Not far to Dunoon town centre or Toward LightHouse in the other direction, and beautiful walks and beaches on your doorstep. I’d just advise taking Smidge or buying some in the wee shop below the apartment if you’re at all bothered by midgies as they were out and about when we were there. Just keep moving ‍♀️‍➡️. Overall fantastic little gem. Go for it.
