The view is second to none, as it looks down over the Otago Harbor. Every detail was just perfect. Our hostess Vivi was very welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful- very well appointed, with a gas fire. Breakfast was included and was a full cooked breakfast of your choice, dining with the other guests. We were in Dunedin to go to a concert. Vivi arranged transport for us into Dunedin, and back afterwards. Our bus driver was very informative and helpful. Though the lodge is on the peninsula rather than in town, I would thoroughly recommend staying here. The views were spectacular, the staff wonderful and the rooms luxurious. This place was amazing! Our room was stunning. As we pulled up, we were met by Roger who was the host. He was so helpful and hospitable. Dinner at the castle is a must! What a lovely evening we had there. In the morning, Roger and Sandra cooked breakfast for us which was just wonderful. Sandra was very helpful and caring as well. It felt like we were staying with family! Thank you both for a wonderful experience at a wonderful place.
