I loved the quirkiness of the hotel
The host was really helpful. The facilities and guest area have everything you need with a kitchen area which has a stocked fridge with yogurts fruit sauces butter etc. Coffee making and selection of teas. Relaxing lounge with self-service bar and honesty payment. Great location for blues fans. The location has a gritty feel and is quite run down but full of live music venues and bars including the famous ground zero blues club and Reds.

More like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Very tastefully decorated. Clean and roomy and the old building full of character.
Great bathrooms/ showers. Recommend

This is a well located hotel with very attentive staff and a really comfortable room. We had an awesome night sleep and a simple but good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Everything was the best and my family really loved it more than the other hotels there from check in to check out. Funny thing is when we would go visit the other hotels they would say I’m glad we are staying at Fritz’s.

Bed was comfortable. Although everything you need for an overnight stay was provided the room was generally a bit tired looking but then that is reflected in the price. Breakfast was very limited, bread, muffins, cereal etc

You can find a great deal from £47 on Dundee motels with Expedia. Typically, prices are higher during popular times – like weekends and holidays – while staying midweek is often cheaper. To find the best nightly rates on Dundee motels, try to be flexible with travel dates, and sort search results by price from low to high.
Is it better to stay in a Dundee motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
