very friendly staff and nice hotel. this isnt a holiday inn or hilton, if thats the quality you are looking for pay the price. this is a wonderful hotel it could be a little cleaner but the size of the rooms and amount they have is understandable, the pool is nice, the jacuzzi tub its great and people there are very friendly.

Overall a decent place to stay for the price. Pleasant staff. Room was satisfactorily clean. Jets in garden tub not operational which is not a deal breaker as I greatly appreciated the spacious garden tub to relax in. There was no hair dryer in bathroom as stated on website, just an empty bracket. Coffee maker did not work. Some of the electric wall plates and outlets hanging off the wall. People often hanging out in parking lot during night, a little disconcerting, but I didn't feel unsafe. Lot of trash and cigarette butt's on the ground at front and exit doors. An automatic opening door at lobby entrance would be wonderful and maybe a new baggage cart, the 2 there were in pretty rough shape. Again all in all, a good stay.

Truly disappointing stay all around. The toilet did not work properly, we literally had to lift the lid and manually grab the plunger inside to have the toilet flush. You could see the handle mechanism was held together with a twist tie. When I let the front desk staff know, they acted overly concerned and wrote a note for it to get looked at, but stated that unfortunately since we booked with an outside party (Expedia) there wasn't anything that could be done about the amount paid. Nor the fact that we booked a Family Suite with supposedly 2 queen size beds and 1 king size bed. Again it was stated that this was an error on the part of Expedia, as though they do have those rooms, they are reserved well in advance and are usually not available. The front desk clerk said, "I don't know why they keep doing that, but don't worry both rooms are the same price!" It appeared to my husband and myself that the extra large Family Suite rooms were most likely being rented out more long term to families and perhaps state workers. As per other reviewers, not much to speak of for the continental breakfast bar.

Room was large, had an adjoining door to the next room, but we didn't have anyone in that room. Coffee was good. Continental breakfast. If you try to check in before 3 p.m. you will be charged extra. I didn't see that on their website. Hotel needs sprucing up. It's dated. Outside area needs some love, but overall, we slept well.
