Kibara Beach House-great getaway, spa on front deck overlooking the water


  • Kibara is situated on the picturesque cliffs of Mermaid Circ, this fully self-contained holiday home is truly spectacular.

    Whether it be for a quiet family getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, or a weeklong fishing trip with your mates, you needn't look any further than Kibara as your ideal destination. An easy 100mtre walk to the beach.

    This 2-bedroom property sleeps six comfortably and is fully maintained with:
    2 queen size beds, 2 single beds and 2 foam mattresses to sleep an extra two.
    A large Deck with a spa, overlooking the ocean. The deck also has a table and chairs as well as an outdoor lounge.
    Modern kitchen with gas cooktop, 1 x fridge, microwave, electrical appliances and all the cooking and eating utensils you require to cook up a storm.
    The house is fully air conditioned and has wall fans.

    A large modern bathroom is downstairs as well as a Laundry with washing machine and toilet.

    Outdoor BBQ area with gas connection for the BBQ and outdoor oven.

    There are extra freezers and fridge in the shed for extra supplies if staying for a week or two. A dryer is situated in the shed.

    We allow pets if arranged when booking but must be kept outside.

    Linen is now provided for your stay

The balcony was number one lovely breeze off the ocean. Wouldn’t want to be to elderly to sleep upstairs as the ladders are a little steep but plenty room under the lofts, otherwise was nice and peaceful

Good and Bad

May 11 2024 There are no separate rooms or any privacy I should have taken more notice of the description of the property. Maybe put a curtin across where the single beds are so people can get ready in the air conditioning for special occasion. Because there is no air conditioning in the shower which is outside down the stairs as is the toilet. The view was lovely, the water to the spa was smelly needed more tablets or something. The BBQ was useful we used it everyday l. We pay for a service so taking the rubbish away is a service some people do not have a suitable car to take the rubbish away it should be taken in a trailer or a Ute which we did not have. and cleaning the house is a service too. The place only sleeps 6 it very small I would recommend it to only young people since you have to climb up steep ladders to get to the 2 double beds. Over all it was ok PS…. There is no TV so if you want watch the footy or any sport or anything you cannot.

Property is as pictured, small inside and basic but fantastic outlook and all living space on the deck catching the ocean breezes. Not sure how but the spa is lovely and cool even in the buildup. We had a great stay and will be back

Loved everything except sleeping arrangements. Niece and Children had mezzanine floors. Suggest a double single bunk where single beds are. Otherwise loved the setup and ease. Thanks for hosting us

Fishing Dundeefree

Clean and tidy, good view of the sea, drive way needs to be a bit wider and space near front of house a bit wider to allow large boat to access and turn around No problem with smaller boat though. A small tv would be good too. Mosquito's were very annoying but ok if you use repellent. Shower, air conditioning and extra freezers are just great. Cheers

Great outlook with amazing sunset. Great deck and spa. Place set up for people wanting to fish for a few days. No tv which was a bummer had to watch the afl on the phone but otherwise top spot

Beautiful accommodation, stunning sunsets

We had a lovely two night stay! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean during the day, and the beautiful sunsets at night. Accommodation was clean and had suitable bed options for the children. We used the barbecues to cook our dinner both nights. Walks along the cliff side were enjoyable.

Great house for a quiet, relaxing stay

The house has a spectacular view facing the sea and a row of coconut palm trees and is in a very quiet, secluded place. The kitchen had most of what we needed and the check-in process was straightforward. Beds were very comfortable! We really loved our stay here. Two things we weren't aware of: due to crocodiles you can't actually swim in the sea (for someone from the Northern Territory that's probably to be expected, as a foreigner it wasn't at all. I usually book beach houses so I can go swimming whenever I want), and the whirlpool on the deck has no heating, so no romantic nights with some champagne - in the summer this would probably be nice and refreshing, now in the winter it was too cold.

Beach is less then 5 min to your right.. loved the accomidation stay and facilities.. Defiantly will go again.. Would love to see a table tennis under the house think it would make a great pass time.. Thank you kindly ❤ it was perfect 💯 Mozzie coils are a must !

Such a wonderful spot!

The girls and I totally enjoyed our weekend and can't wait to return. Wonderful view, the house had everything we needed although an airfryer in the kitchen would be ideal! Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, lovely host, well equiped kitchen and sunset to die for

Cute cottage style accommodation, beds comfortable, kitchen very well equiped, was unsure about the loft areas and their safety (I have a toddler) but was no problem . Deck is large and beautiful, so much space and the most gorgeous view. Wil defnitely book again 😊
