Wedding weekend at Whitetail Lodge
We attended a wedding weekend at Whitetail Lodge. The house was only 10 min from the venue and was perfect! Had everything we needed and was neat, clean and updated. There is a train that runs out back but wasn't a big bother for us. House was great!

Charming and clean!
I enjoyed my stay at this property from A to Z. Everything was as described on the website. The host was extremely accommodating and directions were simple and clear. The pet inclusion was convenient and the fenced yard made me feel safe. I have a yearly commitment in this area and will definitely rent here again.

This was perfect for us!
This was my husband and I and our 2 teenagers and two Labrador dogs. The house was just as described. I read in the bathtub and my son watched movies while my husband and daughter went fishing for small mouth bass on the Susquehanna! It was close to Harrisburg where we went for dinner and other events. Some people mentioned about the railroad tracks that are right behind the house and we did hear them quite a few times but never at night. The beds were comfortable enough, the wifi was excellent. The only downside is that the house is right off of a busy road and coming in and out of the driveway was MILDLY challenging. The fenced in yard was awesome for the dogs. We would stay here again.

Noisy little house, but worked for us
It is an unusually noisy property, but we preferred the comforts here over a hotel. It offered more space for us, yard access for our dog, and TV streaming. Queen bed was very comfortable. Traffic and train noise did not bother us much.

Family trip was great! Railfan paradise!
We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint little house. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The place is well cared for and very clean. Our dogs loved the dog run. We didn't mind at all not having a dishwasher. We also didn't mind the train noise from the tracks behind the house. In fact, if you're a railfan this is a great place to stay. The highway noise was much more introduce than the trains, but we got used to it quickly. The highway also makes it challenging to get into and out of the driveway at times. But, we figured that out also. Communication with the host was easy and they were very gracious and helpful. We'd definitely stay again!

Cozy home but noisy location
We stayed at this property for 2 nights (was supposed to be 3 but we left early to try to get ahead of inclement weather). We were able to bring our 2 dogs which we were super appreciative for. The house was clean, comfy, and well stocked. Our only complaint was the noise during the night. The property is located on a busy road traveled by tractor trailers who had a tendency to apply the brakes right when they were passing the house. And behind the house was a relatively busy railroad track. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others.

Nice and Comfortable
This was a very cute, clean, and comfortable home. The beds were comfortable. It is an older home, but that was fine with us. The home was well-stocked with towels, kitchen equipment, and little snacks. I gave the property 4 stars because the train runs behind the property (we were aware of this beforehand), and it runs frequently. Also, the highway in the front of the house is quite busy. However, overall, the home was a perfect stop between NC and NY, the area is mountainous and beautiful, and it is less than 30 minutes to the Hershey area and close to Harrisburg. Also, most important for us, the owner allows pets, and we were able to make good use of the fenced-in backyard for our pup.

Good value and property is well maintained and stocked. Host is readily available for questions. Be ware that the property is on a main road and could be noisey during the day but is quiet at night. There is also a train track directly behind the property, so that could be noisey as well...Overall, a nice short stay.

Quick little family trip
Me, my husband and our 2 kids stayed here for a quick little trip! We took our kids in the back yard area to play. The kitchen was spacious, the living room had a nice big couch and the bedrooms were perfect for us.

Beautiful little house
This house is decorated beautifully. It was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and supplies. The owner was easy to get in touch with and accomodated late checkout with no issue. The biggest down side to this property is the busy train tracks behind the house which has trains running very often and at all hours. Also the house is located on a busy street which has trucks passing through occasionally. Overall great vacation home!

Home was clean and comfortable. Fully stocked (tools) kitchen. Location was good for Harrisburg access. Plus Liquid Noise Brewery, a short drive, has great beer and pizza! Definitely try their homemade pretzel bites!

The property was exactly as described. It was neat and clean. We had family over and a few friends. The host was amazing and attentive. The Ring Doorbell gave us peace of mind since we weren’t particularly familiar with the area. 100% would recommend staying here. The yard is also perfect for those with pets. I also took a walk by the Railroad tracks and the surrounding area was adorable.

The pictures were accurate. It is a small house with lots of charm. The owners had a nice welcome basket to greet me. Unit was clean and well stocked with extras. The only down fall was, this house sits close to a main road. I didn’t have a pet but the back yard would be perfect for one.
