It is only 18 kilometers to Schwerin - so you can also benefit from the state capital's varied shopping and cultural offerings. The seven kilometer long Dümmer Lake is a great area for anglers and, due to its good water quality and flat sandy beach, it is also a wonderful swimming lake - even for the smallest holiday home guests. In the state capital Schwerin you can get a taste of the city air and discover lots of interesting things and things worth seeing. The castle with castle gardens, the Schwerin Cathedral or the Schwerin State Theater are absolutely worthwhile excursion destinations.
