"Lovely quiet resort right on the beachfront. The beach is very clean and clear. You are able to snorkel straight off the beach. There also is a small boat to hire. Delicious food at reasonable prices and fantastic sunsets. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Only cold water available, but not an issue in the heat. The room had a fan which was enough to keep cool at night. Lovely place. Highly recommended. "

"Honestly you get what you pay for and it was a cheap price. Aircon was nice and cold but there is no hot water at all. The young gentleman was really friendly but the older lady who I assume was the owner was quite rude and not in the least bit helpful. She told us to walk quietly in our room, which we were doing as you leave your shoes at the front door. When we inquired about food she told us only philipino food and to go elsewhere, but we always try to eat local food first."

"Marina Terrace (the restaurant) is beautiful for sunset and the couple running it, Kieran and Beth really make the place special. They are knowledgeable world travelers so we found kindred spirits. Kieran is an amazing chef who whipped up to die for risotto as good as we have had in Italy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and what to do. This is an authentic local experience with few tourists. The town itself is very safe and close by there are some nice hikes and killer beaches nearby. We rented a scooter from them to get around and explore including riding it on Long Beach which was a ball. The rooms are basic with a comfy bed, hot water and decent AC. Rare for these parts is that the water is potable which is huge as you have no worries about getting sick. Highly recommended for travelers looking to hang out with the locals and enjoy a beer on empty beaches. We also rented a private boat and snorkeled some of finest reefs we’ve ever seen. Thank you Kieran, Beth and the rest of the crew for making this a standout among our many travel experiences."

"There is no road for car to that villa. You have to park at the neighbor and walk through the dirty and small road and some temporary bridges that are made from a piece of wood or just small tree trunk. We reached there with a dirty room without water. "

"Ocean paradise: I think that's the best way to describe this place. It is a marine protected island with a wonderful reef. You can snorkel and see amazing fishes, corals, starfish and turtles! In the price the food is included (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The crew is amazing and they are trying to do anything you ask for. They played beach volley with us and they also showed me a pull-up bar where I could continue my training. The place was destroyed in 2022 by a typhoon, and they are slowly trying to fix it. It can now host about 15-20 people at most, and you live in a hut type of house where there is a private bathroom. There are also hammocks and sunbed all over the place. If you are a solo person, going there is weird as there are only couples 99% of the times. I've stayed for 4 nights, but I can easily go back there and spend another 10\. It's true that there is not much to do apart from, running, swimming, snorkelling, beach volley, basketball, pull up bar, etc. But this simply life fits me so, I can stay there for many days. The night sky is also incredible and you can see sunset, moonrises, starts, milky way, etc. The only downside I see is that they are keeping most "street" lights on during the night, so you cannot really enjoy the dark night sky, but it's a matter of going around the island and you have your peace. It's really paradise on earth!"
