Great but lack of safety
Basically we love staying in this hotel. But one thing really bad was the safety in the bathroom. We will need to stand or sit in the slippery tub when we shower. So once, i slipped, holding onto the movable glass panel and fell out of the tub onto the floor. A few days later, my husband slipped and sat on his bum inside the tub while standing. There was no safety hand bar, non slipped base and with the movable glass panel, makes showering a chore.

Wonderful little hotel! Majority of the attractions are within walking distance if you don't mind walking. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. Check in amd check out was smooth. The lady who was bartending was also very kind. Our room was clean, spacious, and matched the pictures well. We had a view of the street below. Not a bad price for everything there is to offer for this hotel. If I ever return to Düsseldorf I will stay here again. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.

I was very happy with the hotel. Staff were polite spoke English and very helpful, arrived early and they got me room right away. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and lots hot water. The breakfast included with my staf was outstanding. Regretted I had to catch early flight and missed it second day. Only negative was air conditioning did not work and open window for good breeze but faced front street so was noisy. I would book this hotel again next time without question.

Nice and stylish hotel with small but well equipped rooms. Great location within walking distance to most of the places I needed to get to. Staff at night didn't speak much English but still tried to be helpful. No restaurant or bar open upon my late arrival which was quite inconvenient. The only super disappointing thing was dirty towels - both of them. One had less of a mark, another one had a clear palm print of dust or something of the likes on it. I commented

Nice weekend break in Dusseldorf
A comfortable stay at a nice hotel, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention to the Bar manager, he was the best cocktail bar man I have encountered in a long time. Breakfast was excellent, bar prices reasonable and rooms comfortable. Location really good

I was disappointed with condition of this hotel. I choose a superior room and surprised how small the rooms were and the lack of up keep. Scratches on the walls, poor quality of the towels and bed linens. The picture online are nice - they don’t reflect the real thing.

Had to be moved as I was first given an economy room when I had paid for a comfort sized room. One lift and my bedroom floor were quite dirty, a spider had been squashed on the wall but not removed. Don't know if it's a case of limited cleaning staff during covid, but for a 4 star rated hotel, the cleanliness was very below average in my opinion. For a hotel with boutique in the name, normally there's some room slippers and a bath robe. Aside from that, the bed was big and comfy, the shower was nice and the staff are friendly. Location is good, within a 10 minute walk of both central station and city centre

Booked a single room but was given a double room. Nicely decorated room with good WiFi and a kettle to make tea or coffee. Hotel is conveniently located about 10 min walk to station.
