The location is AMAZING! It's right in the heart of Old Town. Bars, restaurants and shops at every turn! If you are someone who isn't going to be staying in the room all day, then this one is good for the price. You can't beat the location. It's self check in and the machine wasn't working so we had to call the number listed and someone gave us the codes over the phone.

Apartment-style hotel in heart of Dusseldorf
Excellent location, in the town center (Altstadt), near the river. Many restaurants in immediate location and ferris wheel. Convenient to subway. (Can be a little noisy at night, but that goes with the territory) Great concept!

This was a disaster....TV didn't work, WiFi didn't work, no response to requests to repair. Small face towels instead of bath towels. Heating system terrible....boil or freeze. Curtains leave you exposed to view from adjacent buildings.

Location is excellent to all restaurants and the river. Apartment pictures are not representative of actual condition. No lift; rooms down dark, narrow and dirty hallway. Kitchen not well supplied. Very dissatisfied.

Stay inside oldtown
Stayed in the hotel for a night. The location is delightful and right by the oldtown though it comes w/ some level of noise (music, etc) till pretty late but I found that by using an ear plugs I could get a pretty good sleep :)

Clean and modern
Difficult to find by car. Hotel is located right in the centre of aldstadt. There is no parking close by and nearest parking is very expensive. Very modern and clean. Reception staff friendly. Although our room was non smoking, as soon as you step out into the corridor there is a constant smell of cigarettes. Floorboards in the room were very noisy! Our room was next door to reception and we could hear everyone checking in and out but noise from nearby clubs and bars didn't bother us. Kitchenette and tea and coffee making facilities much appreciated. There is also a fridge. Many bars and restaurants close by.

Central apartments in Dusseldorf
The apartments were a great size, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the apartments are in a busy part of town and some people may complain of the noise it is the perfect location for getting around and we did not find the hustle and bustle a problem at all, if anything it was a bonus to be in such a central location. There is no lift is this concerns some people but the hotel only covers 3 floors, we were on the 2nd floor. The usual towels and soap etc are supplied but each room had a little kitchenette with a fridge so I would recommend taking or buying some supplies for a cup of tea/coffee and some snacks for breakfast. Would definitely book this place again for our next trip to Dusseldorf

Very loud hotel
The room was very noisy. The bars outside were open late and tons of people partying outside your window. Large room with many beds and great location downtown.

Stayed here for the Christmas Markets. Great location. Check in/out easy. Good size apartment with 4 beds. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Lovely apartment for the weekend. Clean towels everyday. It's on a street full of bars and restaurants and shops so you don't have to travel far. In the evening it can be a little noisy if your windows are open but it didn't stop us sleeping. Definitely recommend.

Well hidden secret in the heart of Altstad
Central to excellent shopping, food, and bars. Exactly where we needed to be. Cool locals and views everywhere! Karneval was a blast. We would definitely come stay again.

I travel for a living, and spend ~250 days out of the year in hotels. Never have I been treated as poorly as I was in this hotel. To start, it is a dirty hotel, with lots of stairs to the reception, which is basically a small office off a dark holiday. From there, things got worse. My company was in town for the Medica, and had multiple rooms booked down the road. I booked one room here, for one night, just in case we needed another. At one point in the weeks leading up, I questioned the need to have this room, and sent a message through Orbitz, to the hotel, asking about the cancellation policy. I never heard anything back. We assumed we still had the room, and ended up needing it. Upon arrival, not only was I told that the room was cancelled, but they had no rooms. They also refused to show me any documentation showing that they received my question, and cancelled without answering me. It was a mess, and I bunked with a colleague. I was told that the refund would come from Orbitz, but it never came. Today, I called Orbitz again and was told the hotel was now saying they kept the money, there was no cancellations allowed, even though the manager at the time said they had refunded Orbitz. I then called the manager, and he could not have been more rude. After his 3rd “whatever,” I had enough. I am putting AMEX on the case now, but after staying in hundreds of hotels, I can say I found the pinnacle of unprofessional, dirty hotels.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We stayed on a Tuesday in June. It was very hot but with the windows open the room cooled. There is no A/C or even a fan. With the windows open however, the noise from the street was extremely loud. The hotel offered ear plugs. The noise subsided around 3 am and I was able to fall asleep. With the windows closed the noise was significantly muffled but the room was extremely hot. With the windows open, the room cooled off but was too noisy for me to fall asleep.

Well located hotel
This is a very well located hotel in the "Alt Town" area of Dusseldorf. A few steps out of the door and you have a multitude of shops, bars, breweries and restaurants to explore within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is very much an apartment hotel with good sized rooms and basic kitchen facilities if you want to eat the odd meal in. having said that the rooms were clean and tidy and the beds comfortable (the beds are split down the middle, but are pushed together). The only down side of the hotel is the fact that it is located in the same place as the Papagayo Nightclub which rocks through until around 4.30am and is pretty loud. Solution is to take some ear plugs or to go to the club until it closes! Despite the club we would still use it again as it is competitively priced and in a great location.

The hotel is nice, clean and the location and the price is good. The only reason I have it a 4 stars not 5 is because it could get a little noisy at night with the club right under it however the location and the friendly staff made up for it

Pros: The hotel is located in the center and the staff was nice. Cons: Is in the middle of a noisy street, without air conditioning and don't expect to be able to open the windows because of the loud sound (and it was a Wednesday). The WIFI was not working, the room smell funny. Additionally, just in front the reception is a room with old and dirty things, it does give a good impression of the hotel.

Fantastic Location
Hotel is located in the centre of many bars and restaurants and is ideal for a night out. However, the only one point to bear in mind is that it is very noisy and music didn't stop playing until 4.30am - if you are a light sleeper, perhaps not the best location.

While the location of the hotel, right in the heart of old Dusseldorf, was excellent, this is not a hotel for business travelers or anyone who desires a quiet nights sleep. The hotel is over a night club that operates well past 4AM. If you are there as tourist who is looking to party all night and sleep during the day, then this is a place for you.
