5 Bedroom / 3 Bath - Easy walk to Ocean. Awesome views from upper deck

Welcome to our Beach House - Located directly between the Sound and the Ocean with a convenient walk to either. A quick walk to the East brings you right to a Beach Access point. The beaches of Duck are clean and spacious. To the West your short walk brings you to the sound where it is walking distance to the Boardwalk filled with shopping, restaurants and bars.

If you chose to stay in, your home away from home has all of the amenities you will need for a week of relaxation and memories. Decks surround the house. The upper deck on top of the house will be your favorite spot. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the Ocean or your evening cocktail saying goodbye to the sun as is sets over the Sound.

The private 12' x 25 'pool is sure to be a hit with for your non-beach loving family members especially on the occasional windy day. Outdoor games on site include corn hole, can jam, yard yahtzee, boogie boards for pool or Ocean. There is a cart for you to wheel your gear to the beach. There are 2 grills for outdoor cooking, 1 charcoal and 1 propane.

SandMor has 2 levels. Upstairs is a spacious kitchen and open dining/family room. The kitchen is stocked with all the comforts of home, a Keurig and a Ninja blender and all the utensils you could need. The 3 bedrooms upstairs include 1 Master with private full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms sleep 2 each and are located across the hall from the 2nd full bath. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a Queen bed.

In the lower level is a family game room, stocked with board games, a combo ping pong table/pool table. HE Washer/Dryer are located off the game room. Each of the bedrooms have a pyramid bunk bed (full over twin) and a twin bed. There is a full bath in the lower level. The set up is perfect for multiple families - adults upstairs, kids downstairs.

Flat screen TV's in every room. Free internet throughout the property.

Your time spent in Duck will be the reset your family needs. Duck has activities in town all the time. Bike and boat rental companies are throughout the community. 20 minute drive South to Historical Kitty Hawk and 20 minute drive North to the wild horses of Corolla. 30 minute drive inland to the H2OBX, Outer Banks newest water park.

Use of Pool Heater is optional. Fees ($40/day) for pool heater are not included in quote. Pool is open from April to November weather permitting. Hottub is available year round.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing Stay

The stay was great, easy walk to Duck, the beach, and yummy food. Nice relaxing trip, kids had a blast in the game room, and having the door to close off the lower floor and the noise was an added plus. Hoping to go back again in the future.

Wonderful house

This is a terrific place — clean and spacious, super comfortable, perfect location. We loved being able to walk to both the beach and to the sound and had an amazing time in the (heated) pool and hot tub. Look forward to returning.

Amazing Stay in Duck!

We loved our stay here! The house was even better than we expected - clean, modern, and with plenty of room for our extended family to gather - and have space. The older kids loved the game room. We all enjoyed the pool, and the walk to the beach was easy and quick. The house is close to everything in Duck.

Nice Beach House

We did a family trip with a group of 10 and found this house to have enough space for everyone. The house is in good shape and looks nicer in person than it does in the pictures. Location is perfect - about equal distance to the beach and sound and within walking distance of the shops in Duck. Only complaint is that the living room is a bit small for a group of our size.

Girls Trip

We stayed here for a girls trip. The host was amazing! She responded fast and answered all my questions! The house was super cute, clean and plenty of space. Close walk to the beach or there was parking at the end by the beach. Host supplies towels, sheets, soaps, laundry supplies , and a few snacks. We are hoping to come back for another girls trip!

Responsive Host and Great Location

Host was very responsive and easy to talk to. We unfortunately had bad weather during our trip, so we used the heated pool and hot tub quite a bit. Both were in good shape. The beach was easy to access. We were unable to really spend any time on the beach due to the weather, but there were beach supplies provided, including a wagon that would have been very helpful! House was very clean and all the furniture was comfy. Bottom line, I would most definitely visit again, hopefully with better weather…

Family get-away

Our stay was truly memorable. Our family had lots of fun. The location was convenient, short walking distance to the beach, we were able to use the cart and chairs available at the property to use. Having a swimming pool at the property was a nice addition as it gave us the option of just hanging out and enjoy lunch/dinner outside. They have lots of complementary games that our family were able to use and we were entertained for the duration of our stay - the pool table and ping pong was a great hit, having an arcade table brought us nostalgia. The third floor deck has nice views for sunsets. While the inside of the house was very clean, we saw cobwebs in screened porch area. Overall it’s a great property and Lisa responds quickly to questions.

Fall Getaway

Great house with everything you need. The weather was unseasonably warm for the weekend so we took advantage of the pool heater and hot tub. Great location…easy walk to the beach and sound near shops and restaurants.

House Beach 2022

We had an amazing time on this trip. The house was perfect for our group. The beach was in walking distance, as are some shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all! We really enjoyed the house and Lisa was incredibly easy to communicate with!

Easter break

We really enjoyed our time in this home. It had plenty of space for us, and it was really clean. The weather was fairly bad while we were there, but the kids enjoyed the game room. The pool was very nice, too. Thanks so much!

Love this house and location

This house was perfect for us. It was close to shops and also close to the beach. I love the small parking area near the beach. Even though it is only a very short walk to the beach, it was nice to park next to the beach with a toddler and a baby. The house was big enough for 4 couples and 5 kids. The private pool and hot tub were great for family time after a long day at the beach. The house and location made this trip one of our best beach trips!
