This new studio is situated in Žudioska street, near Stradun - main street in Old city of Dubrovnik. Apartment has a bedroom with double bed accommodating two guests. Bathroom with shower and hair dryer, A/C, SAT TV, free wi-fi. Lastly, there is kitchenette with fridge, fridge freezer, kettle, stove, kitchen utensils. It is in walking distance of all major monuments and sightseeing, bus station on Pile Gate and in the area there are many stores, bars and restaurants. The Old town of Dubrovnik is the most known and desirable destination in Dubrovnik. In the past, Old City became an important force in the whole Mediterranean after the 13th century. Although significantly destroyed by the earthquake of 1667, Dubrovnik managed to keep and preserve its Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces, and fountains.Today inside the Walls you have almost everything that you might need: cultural sights, cinemas, galleries theaters, lots of cafes, and restaurants. During the day it is pretty much crowded with tourists and domestic people, and music from bars and restaurants during the night is not the first option for those who are seeking peace and a quiet place to stay. Despite that Old Town of Dubrovnik offers liveliness and charm that you cannot find in other parts of Dubrovnik. Stradun, the main street in Old City is only 300 m long but offers the most famous sights as you walk along the way. Onofrio's Fountain, the Franciscan Monastery, the Sponza Palace, Orlando's Column, the Rector's Palace, the Dubrovnik Cathedral and Treasury, the Church of St. Vlaho, Synagogue, Marin Držić House, Ethnographic Museum Rupe, Aquarium... The most impressive sight is well preserved, City Walls. Only 2 km long and 25 m high used to be protected in the past. The most important and well-preserved 5 fortresses give a unique shape to this Old town. Those are Fort of Minčeta, Revelin, Bokar, St. John, and outside Lovrjenac. The place is located right in the heart of Old Town, which made it so easy to pop in and out to explore the town, the walls, and all of the great bars and restaurants of the area (and also to escape the summer heat!). The apartment is located above a restaurant strip so it does stay noisy until late, but this wasn't an issue for me. Apartment is managed by an agent (located in Old Town) who was very friendly and had a bunch of great recommendations. Slavica answered all my questions before check-in promply. The location in the old town was perfect, the bed is very comfortable. We were in Dubrovnik during a heatwave, the temperature outside was about 30 degrees even during the night. The aircon was not working properly, you could feel that the air that was coming out of the aircon was a bit cooler than the room, but it was unable to cool the room properly, no matter the settings. The temperature inside did not get below about 28 degrees. We alerted the management team, exchanged several text messages with them, but they did nothing to resolve the issue. We stayed for 4 nights, located right off the main street, it's very easy to navigate and get to anywhere in the Old Town from here all within 10 minutes walking distance. The host was extremely responsive and sent great instructions on how to find and gain access to the apartment. We couldn't find the remote for the AC and within 10 minutes of texting the host, we had it dropped straight away to the door which was amazing, as the apartment can get very hot. Bed was comfy and easy to sleep on. Some nights can be a bit noisy outside for a few hours as there is restaurants located right at the door but it's fine. Only thing would be if you find it hard to walk up steps, might not be the best option as it's located up a few.
