Restaurants, shops, beaches and many attractions are a few minutes walking distance from the property. The house spreads on 2 floors. The first floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 6, two double bedrooms with one of the bedrooms having en suite private bathroom, one additional bathroom in the hall, a full bathroom and an extra toilet can be found down the hall. The inside staircase leads on to the second floor of the house opening to a large living room area with lounge seats for 8 and a sofa. Left from the living room is another bedroom with a double bed and a full bathroom with shower by the living room. All bedrooms and living room offer partial sea view from the windows. The specious terrace in front of the house is surrounded by a garden and furnished with a dining table for 6 and a lounge area. It is completely surrounded by a stone wall to ensure privacy for the guests. Amenities include: free WiFi, SAT TV, DVD, stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, a fan in all the bedrooms (the thick stone walls keep the inside temperature of the house comfortable in the summer), AC units (living room and in 2 bedrooms downstairs), a furnished terrace and a BBQ. Private parking for one car is available at the street in front of the property. House Hedera V is located in residential part of Pile-Kono area, just a 7-10 minutes walk from historical Old Town. The nearest ATM, minimarket, bakery and café are 50 meters away. The beautiful Adriatic Sea and nearest beach called Sulic is located 450 meters from the house. The owner occupies the ground floor of the house, however the house has a separate entrance and private access to the property. House Hedera V sleeps 6. \*In response to the recent spread of COVID-19 we have implemented new procedures for cleaning and disinfection. Safety of our guests, their families and our staff is important to us. In order to prevent the spread of disease our staff is measuring body temperature on a daily basis even if they feel well , we also encourage our guests to do the same. All surfaces with which the guest came into contact with (nightstand, table, chair, coffee table, any and all furniture, amenities, telephone, remote control, door handles etc.), are cleaned with a suitable detergent and disinfectant with at least 70% alcohol. Special attention is given to the cleaning of all bathroom surfaces before new guests arrive. In order to avoid any unnecessary contact, bed linen and towel will be changed only on arrival/departure, for longer stays, sufficient towels and linen will be left in the property. Pets - not allowed Smoking - not allowed This property features self check in via key lock box. You will receive your code on check in day at 17:00, or earlier in case the villa has been cleaned before. We kindly ask you to provide us with your approximate arrival time so we can prepare the villa for you on time. In case you arrive in Dubrovnik before 17:00 and your accommodation is not ready yet feel free to leave your luggage at our reception, located at Ivana Matijaševića 14 street while exploring the town or enjoying your lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. Unfortunately we had several issues including a non-working Air conditioner for all of upstairs and some electrical issues that kept flipping breakers. It was too hot upstairs so part of our group had to find separate hotel accommodations. The Hedera Estate office was fairly communicative but were unable to get the A/C fixed while we stayed. They did offer a partial refund upon request, and I know sometimes these things are out of their control, so I did not penalize them too harshly. I would just make sure that the upstairs A/C is fixed first if you have a larger group using this villa. ##### Kennan M. In early July it was hot (high 20's) and the large patio area always had some shade. The bedrooms were all of a good size, and the two downstairs ones had aircon and the upstairs one had a fan. The kitchen is fairly small for the size of the property although there is a table and chairs for 6 but this does restrict movement around the kitchen. The property is very quiet considering the nearby traffic and is like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle just a few hundred metres away. The old city is a 10-15 minute downhill (largely steps) walk away which can be done away from roads and traffic right to the square before the city gate. It's a bit of a trek on the way back in the heat but definitely worth the effort to reach the oasis! The management were superb from start to finish with no glitches and dealing with a last minute change of time for a transfer was no problem to them. Would certainly recommend the company and the house to friends. Tip - if using a local taxi, get a price first, or just get an Uber! ##### David L. Stayed 4 nights in Jul 2023 ---
