Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub abseits des Touristentrubels. Von der Hauptstraße in Trsteno fährt man noch einmal 8 min mit dem Auto die Berge hoch, bis man Dubravica und die Unterkunft erreicht hat. Der Vermieter wohnt mit seiner Mutter im gleichen Gebäude (etwas versetzt ein Stockwerk drüber) und ist wirklich sehr herzlich und immer hilfsbereit. An einem Feiertag, an dem die Läden geschlossen hatten, wurden wir von der Familie mit frisch gemachten Palatschinken versorgt und hin und wieder auch mit frischen Feigen aus dem eigenen Garten. Unser Sohn hat mit dem Sohn des Vermieters gespielt, als der zu Besuch bei seinem Vater war. Gleichzeitig hat man aber auch genug Privatsphäre und gerade, wenn wir auf unserer Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer saßen und nur das Zirpen der Zikaden zu hören war, kam es uns oft so vor, als wären wir ganz allein im Dorf.Im Dubravica gibt es einige Katzen (keine Straßenkatzen, sondern Katzen vom Nachbarn, die frei im Dorf rumlaufen). Einige davon sehr sehr zutraulich...unsere Kinder waren ganz begeistert.Wir sind mit dem eigenen Auto angereist und haben uns die Zeit aufgeteilt zwischen Tage in der Unterkunft (zwischen Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer und Privatpool 😊) und Ausflügen in der Umgebung. Schöne Strände (ca. 15 min), größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Kaufland und Dubrovnik (beides ca. 30 min) ist alles gut zu erreichen. Insgesamt ist es ohne Auto schwierig, weil alleine der Weg zum Supermarkt die steile Bergstraße runter im Hochsommer auch noch bei 35 Grad + zum Abenteuer wird (mit dem Auto sind es 8 min). Einrichtung der Ferienwohnung sehr basic, aber sauber und zweckmäßig. Nach 1 Woche haben wir saubere Bettwäsche bekommen. Zu viert (mit zwei Kindern 10 und 14 Jahre alt) wurde es nach zwei Wochen etwas eng, aber das ist in Hotelzimmern ja nicht anders. Wohn und Schlafbereich mit je einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Sehr netter Vermieter und dessen Mutter. Haben ungefragt neue Auflagen für unsere Liegen bekommen (obwohl diese keine benötigen). Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten des Vermieters bekamen wir geschenkt. Jeden morgen kommt der Bäcker ins Dorf, auch Sonntags.
