Great hotel for a weekend break

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Not much to fault here , My only criticism is the hotel restaurant, food was average but greatly overpriced ,if you are paying a higher than average price for a meal you would expect it to be of a higher than average quality . Everything else was excellent.

Will keep returning!

Posted 14-Nov-2016
Pros: Service good - staff lovely, very helpful and friendly. Decor slightly old fashioned but like the fact that local residents use the hotel a lot.
Cons: Stayed once in a room - suite? - right over the front entrance and was woken up by the airport bus throughout the night
Location: Perfect location - few minutes walk from the DART, north to the City/Howth or south to Bray. Powerscourt and Airfield, great days out.
Have stayed a number of times in the Royal Marine - always a good experience. I go to Dublin every year and will definitely return.

Hotel is excellent and food is delicious

Posted 07-Nov-2016
Pros: Room was nice and quiet and spacious great location brilliant that you can get a bus straight from the airport to the hotel door and pick up times are great from the hotel for the bus to take you back to the airport. Weather on our stay was good even though you can't do any thing about the weather.
Cons: Nothing there was nothing to dislike maybe a bit touch up of paint in some areas but nothing that we could complain about.
Location: Super location overlooking the bay

The hotel is great. Don't really think it is worth having the breakfast unless you like the big fry up. The lunch and evening meals are really worth it. Me and my family would buy our own wine and sit in the Lounge area at relax

Pros: Wi-Fi、ロケーション、閑静さ、ホテル内・部屋の清潔さ
Cons:

Our second stay at this truly beautiful hotel full of character and history. Well located just a short walk from the railway station and downtown DunLaoghaire.

Don't expect help finding the correct elevator

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Too hot, staff was not helpful, loud, bad parking.
We had been excited for this hotel because of the location and reviews. It was awful. Firstly, the hotel entrance and parking is hidden and we ended up in the SuperValu parking, paying to just have entered it. I was willing to think this was just our mistake, until later that evening walking from the hotel to dinner we were stopped by other drivers who were completely bewildered hoping that we might help. We arrived with many bags, and the only person who offered to help was a member of a wedding party who was out for a smoke. We had to leave our bags at the curb while one person had to drive to the nightmare parking below (and we watched as driver after driver had trouble, and in some cases, couldn't even enter the parking.) At check in, we were told the lifts to our rooms were behind us. Nope. Then we asked again and told it was through the cafe to the left. Also no. We found the third set, and the only set that went to our rooms on our own. We got to our lovely room - sarcasm - with it's great view of the concrete center with workers. The fans were turned off and the room could only be set to 21C or higher. We weren't even asked how our stay was when we left. There's other hotels nearby that will give you the access to the water and dining. Stay at one of those.

Wrong side of city

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Cons: Doors need to be fixed so they don't slam when left to close, we weren't in a rush to leave but all the people on the bus tours were up at 6 am
Nice hotel, rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately it has the loudest slamming doors I've ever heard so don't plan on sleeping in. We weren't aware of Dublins traffic problems, so we wasted almost 2 hours driving from airport to other side of city where this hotel is located. Next time we would book on airport side of town , Dublin traffic is horrific.
