Nice Hotel with Beautiful Pier Views
We arrived around 9:30 am after flying all night (and sleeping very little). The front desk staff was wonderful about getting all of us into rooms immediately so that we could get a nap before going out to explore Dublin, even though check-in wasn't officially until 3 pm. The rooms were nice and the bed comfortable. I had a little trouble with the lack of sleep figuring out how to get the lights to turn on (there is a slot for your key card by the door that activates the light for energy savings), but overall I think that's a fantastic feature for a hotel. The bathroom was on the small side, but not unreasonably so. Air conditioning works well, and although the hair dryer isn't what we are used to in the US (It was a unit attached to the wall and looks kind of like a vacuum), it worked well.
The hotel is situated about three blocks from a train station, which made for easy access to Dublin City Center. There are a few good restaurants nearby, and the hotel has a restaurant and bar located inside it as well for convenience.
