Pros: Wi-Fi、ロケーション、閑静さ、ホテル内・部屋の清潔さ
Cons:

Our second stay at this truly beautiful hotel full of character and history. Well located just a short walk from the railway station and downtown DunLaoghaire.

Don't expect help finding the correct elevator

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Too hot, staff was not helpful, loud, bad parking.
We had been excited for this hotel because of the location and reviews. It was awful. Firstly, the hotel entrance and parking is hidden and we ended up in the SuperValu parking, paying to just have entered it. I was willing to think this was just our mistake, until later that evening walking from the hotel to dinner we were stopped by other drivers who were completely bewildered hoping that we might help. We arrived with many bags, and the only person who offered to help was a member of a wedding party who was out for a smoke. We had to leave our bags at the curb while one person had to drive to the nightmare parking below (and we watched as driver after driver had trouble, and in some cases, couldn't even enter the parking.) At check in, we were told the lifts to our rooms were behind us. Nope. Then we asked again and told it was through the cafe to the left. Also no. We found the third set, and the only set that went to our rooms on our own. We got to our lovely room - sarcasm - with it's great view of the concrete center with workers. The fans were turned off and the room could only be set to 21C or higher. We weren't even asked how our stay was when we left. There's other hotels nearby that will give you the access to the water and dining. Stay at one of those.

Wrong side of city

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Cons: Doors need to be fixed so they don't slam when left to close, we weren't in a rush to leave but all the people on the bus tours were up at 6 am
Nice hotel, rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately it has the loudest slamming doors I've ever heard so don't plan on sleeping in. We weren't aware of Dublins traffic problems, so we wasted almost 2 hours driving from airport to other side of city where this hotel is located. Next time we would book on airport side of town , Dublin traffic is horrific.

Grand Old Victorian Hotel

Posted 05-Oct-2016
Pros: The location is convenient for us. Often we take the airport bus to/from the front door, but this time we drove and used the hotel's car park.
Cons: This room was in the older part of the building, at the back facing into a well. There are some maintenance issues to which the hotel need to attend.
A lot of work has gone into bringing the public rooms up to a high standard. There is a good breakfast buffet. I have stayed in the hotel several times. Some of the rooms, particularly those that either are in the new building or face the sea are of a very high standard. This time, we got a room in the original part of the building which faced a well at the rear. This seems to be a regular feature of internet bookings! The room was furnished to high standard, and was clean and well presented, but there were some maintenance issues.

Beautiful, grand hotel by the seaside

Posted 02-Oct-2016
Pros: The location was second to none!
Cons: The bathrooms in the rooms could benefit from an update.
Location: The hotel is situated right on the seafront. Our room had a beautiful view of the bay. The main town centre is less than a minute walk away.
The Royal Marine Hotel is in a perfect location in Dun Laoghaire. Right in the town centre on the seafront, with beautiful views of the bay, The staff were vey friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. The Spa within the hotel was wonderful- worth a visit!

Nice hotel near the beach

Posted 20-Sep-2016
Staffs are courteous and helpful. Hotel is a little dated. The room was always warmer, even though we set the AC to 19C. Room is ok. The nice thing is the hotel is very near the pier/beach and surrounded by a lot of restaurants.

Good hotel, just a shame on noise

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Good hotel with location, facilities, and food/drink. Room was clean and spaceious with a good bathroom (room 440) 1 problem! (A BIG ONE) Noise from the groundfloor function room We stayed for a total of 3 nights Night one: wedding, loud noise going far past midnight. Night two: Another wedding, lous noise going far past midnight. Night Three: Party function, again loud noise. Lets say our sleep all three nights wasn't great. My wife has epilepsy and does require a good amount of sleep. We complained to reception in person and room phone. All management said "we will ask them to turn the music down" DId this happen? Music went quiet each time for no longer than 20 minutes until the function room just upped the volume back. Only say if theres no functions happening, or clear from 440 (located straight above function room) I have and will be making more complaints regarding this.
