Sehr schönes Hotel!!! Werden wieder kommen! Auch die Bahn Anbindung nach Dublin ist sehr gut. Aber auch die Kleinstadt ansich ist sehenswert.

Pros: Views pub comfortable beds convenient for shopping and location to public transportation.

Family night away

Posted 01-Aug-2016
I've stayed at The Royal Marine many times. It is a lovely hotel in a lovely location. My main issue with the hotel is always the staff. They always seem disinterested in their work. Everything seems a hassle to them. One member of staff who stood out as lovely though was the gentleman collecting the suitcases. Service with a smile and he had a lovely chat with my son who was off to the Barcelona game.

Good old-fashioned hotel

Posted 30-Jul-2016
Pros: The old-fashioned element reflected its past.
Cons: Breakfast bacon could be crispier and the egg-service faster.
Location: Within easy reach of downtown Dublin via the DART rail link 5 mins away. Nice esplanade walks, Maritime museum and loadsa sailing opportunities.
A satisfactory stay but the breakfast buffet was not as good as comparable hotels.

Comfortable and spacious hotel

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Pros: Spacious room. Very clean.
Cons: The room service food was rather disappointing. The atmosphere was more impersonal than expected.
Overnight stay was very comfortable and restful. Nice situation close to the harbour. Dramatic building with history.

Best hotel location in South Dublin

Posted 22-Jul-2016
My wife and I have been staying here every Summer for over 18 years on trips home to Ireland from Dallas Texas to visit family. I consider it a home from home and one of the best hotels to stay at in South Dublin. Location sea views and facilities are unbeatable value. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dunlaoghaire Dalkey area. Easy access to Dublin City on Dart rail line.

Nice hotel close to the promenade.

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: The check in was quick, many thanks to Steven.
Cons: The air conditioner had a ticking noise that need to be adjusted.
Location: The walk on the promenade was all we had time for it was memorable.
We had a room on the top floor with an excellent view. This room had a soaker tub and shower. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. All around good stay.
