The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The room was clean and. comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and you can walk around the town or walk by the water. There are lots of food choice around and the hotel has a spa and afternoon tea. I will stay there the next time I am in Dun Laoghaire. There are different elevators that go to different parts of the hotel so make sure to ask.

Nice stay and 26 mnts to Dublin by train. Hotel is authentic but would need some renovations. There is no plug in the washroom to connect hairdryer, etc. The shower was at floor level and we had water all over the floor., not practical. Staff are exceptionally nice.

The room, bathroom and the bed were comfortable and clean. I was a bit surprised the there were no 5V usb sockets in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. The taxi booking service worked perfectly. The fire alarm went off three times on our second day but were cancelled in a few seconds each time.

The staff was fabulous and very helpful. We were upgraded to a suite and they found an easier place for us to park (my husband is disabled). The restaurant for dinner was delicious and the waiter so nice. Great trip, great stay.

Hotel really well located. Close to station for taking Dart into Dublin. Music in the bar on Saturday night was very enjoyable. We had a lovely large room with large comfortable bed and had everything we needed in the room including good quality toiletries.

We only stayed for one night before heading to the airport, and it was perfect for that purpose. The location of the hotel provided everything we needed and more - good eats, good drinks and beautiful views. Our room amusingly looked out onto a tiny turfed, non‑accessible courtyard, and with the curtains open you could see people walking by in the adjacent hallway through the floor‑to‑ceiling windows — quirky, but harmless. We booked the cheapest room at a good rate, so no complaints there. The air conditioning worked well, though the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. If you stay here, you must eat at Casper & Giumbini’s just steps from the hotel — it was perfection. Overall, a convenient and perfectly fine overnight stay.

Staff are excellent as is the food and serice. We have been coming to the Royal Marine for over 14 years and it is looking a little tired and in need of some TLC. Bathrooms need an update etc.. Other than that the sta was great.

Front staff tall dark hair gentlemen very courteous. Manager at the restaurant (Hardy’s) Blonde hair she was very accommodating. Room was chilly especially the bathroom radiator did not work. Issue with water temp one day for shower. Over all lovely stay second time and will be back again.
