Close enough to Dublin to enjoy it, but far enough away to be away

The Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. While some may not appreciate the spiral staircase to get to the upsatirs bedroom, it reminded me of a mountain cottage with a bit nostalgia.

Property was charming and quiet, just a short walk from Malahide castle and village. Property owner was amiable and helpful and a list of local restaurants and attractions was provided. My wife and I had a lovely stay.

Sisters trip

Shay is a friendly host. Met us to assure we were settled in. Lovely property, very quiet, very close to a lovely castle and park and walking distance to Malahide and train station for easy access to Dublin.

Great location to enjoy Lyon

A classic small apartment with easy access. Elevator was a necessity. Very quiet, and Les Halles a two minute walk was a real bonus.

Wonderful stay in Malahide!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in at Bodenlodge! Everything was very nice and the property is beautiful & peaceful. It was easy to go into Dublin but also nice to get away from the city, too. The town of Malahide is lovely and an easy walk. We particularly enjoyed the castle grounds. Shay was a perfect host and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great Accommodations

We enjoyed everything about our stay from proximity to airport, lovely cottage setting at a home with beautiful gardens, safe and attractive neighborhood, nearby lovely village on the waterfront with good restaurants, a castle with extensive grounds etc. and also train service close by to visit Dublin. We could not have asked for a better place to initiate our very first time In Ireland/Dublin. The host was very welcoming and helpful with information for all our needs. We feel grateful and were totally happy with our experience.

This place is so quaint, clean, cozy, and close to the castle. It's an easy 10 min walk to town or the taxi home from the pub is 8 eu. Shay and his wife are lovely hosts and consistently available to answer questions and or greet you. Wonderful and I cannot say enough great things about this little retreat. I'll definitely be back. Gorgeous Property!!! Very unique and beautiful!!!

This little cottage is super comfy! Nice decor, FANTASTIC BED!!! It was in a good location, a short walk or drive from Malahide Castle. The area is beautiful and the property is impeccable. It got a little chilly as they’ve had abnormally low temps. I loved having access to local tv as well as Netflix. Shay was there when we arrived and showed us all the particulars. It’s really the perfect size!!! Good WiFi was also helpful. Thanks again, it was the perfect getaway. Next trip I’ll plan a few more days in that area.

Wonderful lodge very close to city but away from all the hustle. Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Very clean, very comfortable bed, nice shower, WiFi and TV with Netflix. Great base for exploring the city and sorrounding area.

Very clean, extremely comfortable lodge. Great host interested in ensuring an enjoyable stay, while providing total privacy. Beautiful grounds, lodge decorated very nicely. Extremely comfortable bed. Short ride from Dublin in excellent, safe area. Train station & downtown area, with restaurants & shops, just a 4 minute drive or short 25 minute walk. Castle grounds are just across the road; nice beach & parks very nearby. Perfect place to unwind or use as a base for exploring the city and surrounding area. Will definitely stay here again.
