This is a stay in an authentic Victorian house with all of the Texas flavor to go with it. I enjoyed my evening and would stay again any time I am in that part of Texas. It is a charming small town with other lovely Victorian houses and Granny Clark’s Restaurant.
Exceeded expectations. Very neat, cute, and host met us in the driveway. Much appreciated for the gracious hospitality of snacks, cold drinks, fresh oranges and the beauty of the rooms reflecting care, consideration and love for this place.
Absolutely a wonderful stay. Ursula and John are great host. Room was very spacious and clean. Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood. Will stay here again next time I'm anywhere near Dublin.
The owners of Irishette, John and Ursula were very friendly and welcoming and provided excellent information on the small town of Dublin, TX and the local places to dine and visit. The accomodations were exceptional, very clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities. It is a very unique place to stay due to the style of the home and rooms available and it is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. I highly recommend Irishette if you are visiting the local area and small town of Dublin, TX.

Disliked: Amenities
Located in a small town it works. Owners were nice. The bed comfortable. Only shower available and water pressure is low. We only needed to stay one night and it worked for us. Would stay here again if we needed to.
Being in Dublin, Texas, where else would we stay BUT the Irishette. We had the Rose room and it was more than just a room. Beautifully decorated, it was reminiscent of a time long ago when afternoon tea was the proper thing to do. It was large and accommodating and the owners were kind and considerate and explained all that we needed to know. It was nice to wake up to the song of mockingbirds after a good night's rest for my husband and I.
Hotel? Or stay in a memorable 1893 Ginger Bread House. The home is 131 years old as of 2024 so don’t expect modern home decor. The room was very clean and most importantly the king bed that’s situated in a large guest room was extremely comfortable. For entertainment the TV had streaming options and paid Netflix, there was also a large selection of DVDs, books, and magazines. There’s a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and tea available. John and Ursula were gracious hosts and if you’re lucky enough to stay while Ursula is baking then consider yourself lucky!
