Great value!

Posted 17-Apr-2017
Pros: It was a very comfortable hotel right next to a beautiful park.
Cons: They didn't have a top sheet. They had an integrated Duvet with cover and when I asked for a top sheet, we just got a thinner version.
Location: Ravi's Kitchen is great for some Indian but ask for spicy if you want some heat.
The hotel is very reasonably priced and is close enough to walk to City Center without all the noise and congestion that comes with staying in the center. Your close enough to Temple Bar if you are up for walking. The hotel itself is nice with a wonderful bar that serves great food. There is a gym on the bottom floor but it is very small. It has one each elliptical, rowing machine, treadmill and bike along with an all in one weights machine. There are large towels and a water cooler to fill a bottle or get a glass of water. They did leave a water bottle at night for each of us, which was great!

Very nice hotel but not prime location

Posted 15-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything but the location
Location: Public transportation (DART trains) are within walking distance.
I was happy with my stay. Nothing to complain about the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful (though they did give me some erroneous information about the trains in the area which I realized when double-checking myself, but that's ok, mistakes happen). The room was nice, quiet and sleep quality was good. The price was also very good. The one inconvenience had to do with the location. This is not a surprise since when you book you know it's not in the centre. I had to be in the city centre at 6:20am and 6:40am for some organized day trips during the weekend. Public transportation does not start that early in the weekend. So you either have catch a cab (12 euros) or walk (~30 minutes).

Loved our stay at Herbert Park Hotel Dublin

Posted 12-Apr-2017
Pros: Location close to the park.
Location: As stated before the hotel is beside Herbert Park, it is close to pubs and restaurants and a short walk to Dublin City centre
Hotel was perfect, we are a couple with a young child (14 months) the hotel staff were very accommodating. They upgraded us to a suite so that we would have a separate but attached room for our child to sleep. The hotel has a great location, close to Herbert Park for walks and close to good restaurants and pubs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel

Posted 03-Apr-2017
Pros: Staff pleasant and helpful. Food was really good.
Cons: I was very happy with the hotel.
Location: Close to the Aviva and RDS.
Really handy for the Aviva Stadium and RDS. The light bites menu is really good and a lot cheaper than the restaurant. Had a lovely Malaysian curry, which was a full meal, not a light snack at all. Great!

Great for rugby🏉

Posted 03-Mar-2017
Pros: Staff were so efficient & friendly - really, nothing was a bother.
We asked for an early check in and after waiting 5 minutes only, got our room & what seemed to us to be an elaborate room - possibly an upgrade?? Great views and very clean with all amenities you could ask for (fab nespresso machine!) and lots of extra sockets with adaptors. Great hotel and on the main roads for city centre buses or airport link.
