Günstig und Gut !

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: Sehr günstiges Hotel am Rand von Dublin mit sehr guter Busverbindung zum Zentrum !
Cons: Es gab keine größeren Mängel ! Leidiglich etwas laute Party-Heimkehrer in der Nacht waren störend !

Suitable Hotel

Posted 03-Oct-2016
Room was clean and decent but the phone didn't work so I had to walk to the front desk to get more towels. There were only towels for one person in the room. The hotel is u-shaped so it was a long walk to the front desk. My sort criteria on Expedia was 4-star hotels with free parking so I wasn't happy when I was required to pay for parking when leaving. Parking spaces were tight and exiting the underground parking was extremely tight. Of the three hotels I stayed at in Ireland, this one was the least appealing.

In dublin for work 1 nite stay

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Great hotel, great breakfast, super staff but I like a bargain and am always looking a bit of discount would have stayed in another hotel if one was available but that nite there wasn't, other hotels I have stayed in might not be as good but for 50 euro cheaper you still get a good bed and breakfast .

Good parking. Close to shops and other facilities

Pros: Friendly staff great food. Nice rooms.
Cons: No air conditioning in rooms. We stayed on a very warm, humid night. Not good for sleep.
Location: Liffey Valley shopping centre a short walk away with everything one would need.
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff friendly. Only issue. No in room air con. The room was quite hot and the weather humid. Making it uncomfortable for sleep even though the bed was very nice and comfortable.

Prima hotel voor een kort verblijf. Bereikbaarheid is heel goed alleen de ligging is niet bijzonder.

Not a four star

Posted 31-Aug-2016
After queuing to check in I was told our room wasn't ready (despite it being past the check in time). We were offered a cup of tea in the bar. After 45 minutes I came back to see if the room was ready. The queue to check in was out of the door and I was told I had to queue again. Another 30 minutes to queue and I finally checked in. There was a sign at reception stating that the pool was closed for three days. No apology or explanation from the staff. The only reason I booked this hotel was for the pool and I feel they should have contacted me to let me know so I could have made alternative arrangements. The room was fine and seemed clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The rooms are very hot and despite having an air conditioning feed this wasn't switched on. Overall the hotel feels like it is being run on a budget. The staff are poorly trained in customer service and the hotel is a little grubby in the public areas. I would not stay here again.
