The affectionate restoration in ecological construction with high-quality materials offers authentic ambiance with most modern standard. With its two floors, the apartment offers plenty of space for families or groups of up to 5 adults. On frosty winter days, the warm tiled stove invites you to refreshing forest walks to cuddle and relax. On sunny, warm summer evenings, the garden, which is directly accessible from the living room, with its stone terrace, seating area, barbecue and playground is an ideal place to rest. The former farm Ochel is located in Husten, a typical Sauerland farming village with 200 inhabitants. In the village there are still some active farms with livestock, agriculture and forestry. The morning crows of the rooster mingle with the bells of the Sacred Heart Chapel, which is open to visitors. The main road follows the Brachtpetal through other small hamlets and villages. The nearest town is Drolshagen with historic old town and church and monastery from the 11th and 13th. Century. In the area there are other historic villages and old towns, z. B. Attendorn, Freudenberg and the Repetal. For historically interested guests, the castles and palaces of Schnellenberg, Homburg, Bilstein and Crottorf are attractive destinations. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt.Dazu trägt natürlich im Winter auch der herrliche Kachelofen bei, der einmal am Tag angeheizt werden kann (geringer Aufwand, leicht zu „bedienen“) und dann herrliche Wärme abgibt.Die Umgebung ist gut geeignet, um einfach nach draußen zu gehen um zu Wandern oder spazieren zu gehen.Die Lichtverschmutzung hält sich in dieser Gegend in Grenzen, sodass wir in die Felder gefahren sind, das Teleskop aufgebaut haben und ein paar Planeten, Galaxien und Sternhaufen beobachten konnten.Im Haus kann man spielen, lesen, entspannen, gemeinsam kochen und quatschen. Es gibt viel Platz, um sich zur Not auch mal aus dem Weg zu gehen.Dass es zwei Bäder gibt ist super - das entzerrt die Abend- und Morgenroutinen.Besonders hervorheben wollen wir, dass es hier für jede und jeden unterschiedliche Handtücher gab - nicht fünf gleiche, bei denen man immer darauf achten muss, sie nicht zu verwechseln. ##### Sophie Marie S. Das Haus liegt sehr schön ruhig und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sehr sauber, großzügig und einfach sehr gemütlich. Mit 5 Frauen sind zwei Bäder ein großes Plus. Wohlige Wärme durch den tollen Ofen hat uns von Sekunde 1 an ein heimeliges Gefühl gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Kinder haben sich sehr über das Spielzeug gefreut. Es ist alles da, was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht (Geschirrhandtücher, Spüli, Öl, Alufolie etc.). Das Haus ist sehr gut für zwei kleine Familien geeignet. Ein wunderschönes, behutsam restauriertes Bauernhaus mit sehr hohem Wohlfühlfaktor im schönen Sauerland. Eine tolle Terasse, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Zimmer, Bäder und der Wohn-Essbereich waren sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet.
