A wonderful place but be warned!
We rented out the 10 casitas that advertises a private pool and pavilion, so we were under the impression we had the entire place to ourselves for an adults only trip. However, the owners rented out the one and only vacant casita on the property without telling us. It was an adults only trip so we were shocked when the couple that rented out the one casita brought a child with them to the pool. We talked to them and they were not informed that a group of 30 adults for a 21st birthday party were staying there so it was very awkward for everyone. Both us and the other people should have at least been informed about each other. Nonetheless. It was still a great time. The casitas were so cute, clean, and fully stocked with everything you might need. The pool and pavilion were so big and nice! We loved everything about this property, just wish the owners would have communicated a little better.

PERFECTION
I almost hesitate to write this review...because I want to keep this property a secret!! Out of all the VRBO rentals I've stayed at, from the East Coast to the West Coast this was my absolute favorite. There is NOTHING I would change about it...construction and decor is clean and modern, every casita is positioned for privacy, hiking trails, common area pavilion, SO much more! Every night we sat on the beautiful porch of our casita, fire burning in the outdoor fireplace...and stargazed...I saw seven shooting stars in one night! The combination of high elevation and no competing lights make the stars an amazing sight! Close to multiple distilleries, several small quaint towns, not too far from Austin...the perfect location! Everyone in our party LOVED the property! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful property
Mary, thanks so much for everything. We had a lovely time (despite the unexpected cold snap!). The property is set up perfectly for a large group, with privacy at each of the casitas and a great common area at the pavilion and fire pit...like a fancy summer camp for adults! Best of luck with everything - we (and our other local friends who came out) are already looking for a good free weekend to come back :)
