The neighbourhood is a lovely, old, leafy area of the city -- very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is clean, roomy for two people, and in excellent condition. We had a car which we parked on the street (no problem), and the car was useful for touring Swiss Saxony which is only minutes away. We had a fabulous vacation here. We recommend buying the SchlosserlandKarte which can be purchased at the Pillnitz Castle. Alles war sehr geschmackvoll und sehr sauber. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Für uns das Beste war die unmittelbare Nähe zum Elberadweg und die gute Verkehrsanbindung zur Dresdner Innenstadt. Wir haben die Umgebung von Dresden mit seinen Schlössern und Parks überwiegend mit dem Fahrrad "erfahren". Dank der Pedelec-Unterstützung (wir sind jenseits der 65) waren auch die Randgebiete von Dresden problemlos erreichbar. Unsere Touren zwischen 30 und 50 km hatten in der Regel zwischen 300 und 400 Höhenmeter, teilweise mit (kurzen) Steigungen bis 20%. Selbstverständlich kann man auch ohne Steigungen den Elberadweg entlang fahren. Allerdings wird dieser häufig stark von "eiligen" Radlern genutzt. Die Straßenbahn fährt in ca. 20 Minuten die ca. 10 km bis ins Zentrum Dresdens, das natürlich auch sehenswert ist. Die Haltestelle ist lediglich ca. 150m von der Ferienwohnung entfernt. ##### Ingo K. Mit der S-Bahn gibt es eine gute Anbindung in die Stadt und ins Zentrum. Auf kürzestem Weg ist man aber auch an der Elbe mit dem schönen Radweg. In der Wohnung findet man alles was man im Urlaub benötigt. Besonders das komfortable Schlafzimmer und die große Dusche haben uns gut gefallen. So konnten wir uns gut regenerieren, um am nächsten Tag wieder eine längere Radtour zu unternehmen. Ein Freibad in der Nähe sorgt an warmen Tagen für eine Abkühlung. Dass Dresden mit seinen vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten immer eine Reise wert ist, versteht sich von selbst. Besonders gut hat uns die Frauenkirche gefallen. Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall auch eine Führung buchen. Das Porzellan-Museum in Meißen und die Moritzburg waren ebenfalls tolle Erlebnisse. Es war alles da - von der Handseife bis zu den Geschirrspülertabs - . Aufgrund anderer Erfahrungen hatten wir alles dabei. Die in Elbenähe gelegene FeWo war unheimlich ruhig, sehr sauber und ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles, was wir brauchten war da. Sogar das Wetter war perfekt.
