The location was easy to get to yet had plenty of privacy and felt like a retreat. The house I’d quaint enough to feel like a cabin but spacious enough for 5 adults and a teenage boy not to feel like we were on top of each other. We were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal with the cookware/utensils provided. We had a wonderful time! My only recommendation would be to max your party at 6 adults (that can share beds) or else don’t mind sleeping on couches. My son planned to sleep on the futon in the master bedroom with us but it wasn’t very comfortable. He ended up sleeping on one of the couches in the living area. Being unfamiliar with the area, I did think that the house was going to be more remote than it actually was, and you can’t really see the river while sitting inside the house. (Both of these things the owner obviously cannot control). We did have some elk come into the yard and saw an otter while playing in the river, which was awesome! Overall a nice house and convenient to Estes Park and RMNP. ##### Mary B. Beds slept great. Living room furniture needs a deep cleaning for a more fresh smell. Had to purchase a new coffee maker. One in the cabin is not the one pictured in the listing. This place is located in a woody area, but could use an outdoor refreshing, lots of debris on porch. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled very clean upon arrival.
