Our stay in the mountain
We enjoyed our stay at Johnny,s in the mountains. We enjoyed stargazing at this house. The views are beautiful. The property is secluded and private. Johnny is a great host. He gave us so much useful information on all things needed for our stay. We would definitely go back.

Johnny Lo's Mountain Home
This is our first visit to Drake, CO. The property was spacious for six adults and pets. The yard is huge and the mountain view is beautiful. Our host, Johnny, couldn't have been better. He was attentive, accessible, and is an all around cool guy. The house was well furnished. We hope to someday make it back again!

Best vacation
Our family (husband, 13 yr old Son and 2 dogs) had the best time on our weeks vacation using this property as our base camp. The home was very clean and had all the items needed! We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch at night after hiking and exploring. Johnny was the absolute best, 100% responsive and super knowledgeable! Will be back again!

Beautiful views
We stayed ed in Jonny’s home for 7 days in early August. The views from his property are perfect. He definitely wins the best vrbo host we have ever had hands down. He was very detailed in all of his information. Communication was daily to check in with us and give us ideas of things to do. Property was very clean and well maintained. Bonus it was the best stocked with supplies property we have ever stayed in as well. We had a wonderful week and made lots of great memories at his home. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Comfortable and tranquil
This home made a terrific home base for attending wedding activities in Estes Park and Lovrland, Rocky Mountain National Park, and other activities like white water rafting. The home was well stocked with all the basics. Our host made sure we were comfortable. Memories of sitting out with morning coffee, and later watching evenings transition to starry nights is what I'll take home with me.

Wonderful Host and Location
John was amazing! He gave us lots and lots of info about the area and text us during the time we were there to check and make sure we were having a good time. Very informative. There were 6 of us at the house and it was very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and plenty of spices to cook with. We really enjoyed sitting around the firepit in the evenings and watching wildlife. If we ever make it to Estes Park again, we will definitely stay there again.

Host with the Most!
Johnny Lo was the best host we've ever had, and we had an amazing time at his property! We had our dogs with us for a family trip, and the experience this spacious property and location provided was unlike any other trip we've taken! We made camp fires while we cooked smores on the property, we hiked the Palisade Mountain hike just a few miles down the road (amazing but very challenging hike), and we sipped our coffee while the hummingbirds entertained us on the back porch! We look forward to staying with Johnny again for our next Colorado trip!!

Fabulous host and home
We had a fabulous stay at Johnny Lo’s! He was so great at communicating and left us a welcome gift. The house is up in the mountains between Loveland and Estes. Took about 30 min to get to either but the drive and views can’t be beat! We enjoyed sitting outside at his ‘beach’ in the evenings and taking in the quiet of nature. We would highly recommend Johnny Lo’s for your stay!

Cozy Mountain House
Great house in a remote location. Perfect way to be close to the mountains. Only issue was that the water ran out on us, but Johnny was pretty responsive and was able to fix it relatively quickly. Johnny was great and gave us plenty of ideas of things to do!

I was amazing. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all the things you need. Johnny even took the boys on a fishing trip one day. Loved the propane gas fireplace in case you are afraid to burn down a mountain!! Lol. Would recommend this house definitely

Great place to stay in the mountains.
This was a nice "cabin like" stay in a very peaceful and beautiful mountain location. We could not burn a real fire in the pit while there due to burn band but did use the propane fire pit in the evening while star gazing. We didn't spend a lot of time at the home because we were traveled through the national park during the day but morning coffee outside watching the birds, turkeys and deer was pretty cool and having a cocktail at night while star gazing was very relaxing. Johnny was a great host! He answered all of our questions and was there when we arrived to give us a tour (by request).

Great view and hiking
Very clean, great outdor soace also. We used the beach area. Firepit, and did aome grilling. We had the awesome experience of watching 2 deer walk through the yard. Johnny is awesome to work with and provides great information about the area and activities.

Great location with amazing views
Quiet retreat with everything you need for the perfect getaway in the Colorado Rockies. Centrally located between Estes Park and Loveland. Johnny was an amazing host and very attentive. He even gave us suggestions for our visit to Colorado Springs. We would most definitely recommend the house and the host.

We loved Johnny’s place!
We had a great time at Johnny Lo’s! It had everything we needed, plenty of space, big kitchen, was nice and clean and a had a great view. Our first time to the area and we wanted a quiet place with a nice outdoor area where we could relax and watch the stars at night and this place was perfect. We saw beautiful sunrises and wild turkeys right out our front door. We spent our days at RMNP and our nights watching the stars! And I have never been to a VRBO with a better host! He had so many great suggestions for the area! He was great to work with!! Great experience, we loved it and hope to be back!

Drake storm mountain house July 2021
John was an incredible host. Met us at the property at check to make sure we knew how everything worked. He text well in advance to share great locations for grocery shopping before we arrived. Having three bedrooms was ideal. The dog loved the location as well. John even checked in on her for us one day. We enjoyed the property inside and out. Well stocked kitchen including spices and every condiment you could possibly need. Outside we enjoyed the music sitting in the little beach looking at stars. We had visits from deer and a few other wild life. The grill got put to good used nightly and we had s’mores on the bonfire. Perfect trip

There was a minor miscommunication with the listing but John was very nice and accommodating. He personally showed us the property and was easy to communicate with. There was plenty of room and sleeping space for my group of 5. The cabin had everything we needed and the location for our needs was good It’s a short and beautiful drive to RMNP from the location. John even went so far to mail back some stuff that was left behind!

Got away from all our troubles
Staying at Johnny’s home was an awesome experience. You are surrounded by nature and not in a tourist area. We were able to cook out and build a bonfire. Looking at the stars at night was literally awe inspiring. Johnny was helpful to tell us about the area and point us to the right things. If you are looking to elevate your Colorado experience this home is the place.

Great relaxing mountain escape!
We had the best relaxing time! The guys played golf one day, we did a jeep tour one day and shopped in Estes Park one day. Every night we sat by the fire pit and just enjoyed the peacefulness of the mountain. Our last night there we saw a beautiful bright rainbow then the sky cleared and the stars were breathtaking! Our trip was exactly what we were looking for! Johnny brought us extra fire wood when we were out and had some beverages there for us when we arrived. He suggested getting cinnamon rolls from the general store, we did that and they were delicious and huge! We will definitely stay here when we travel ti the mountains again!

Misti and her crew were amazing! They were very communicative. They left the place amazingly clean. I love it when people get to relax and catch up with one another Misty's friend is an artist and did some beautiful paintings for me while they were there. I hope they come back and relax again. Great Stay!
We truly enjoyed our stay! Quiet location on top of the mountain. We had mule deer and turkeys visit each night. Our kids loved painting rocks and playing horseshoes. John was very helpful and accommodating. There is a great little general store in Glen Haven that has great cinnamon rolls- Thanks John!

We loved having Tiffany and her beautiful family stay at our our home. They blew us away with all the cool rocks they painted, and in the different areas they left their works of art. I'm glad they got to relax and turn things off for awhile. I'm hoping we will see them again. They communicated great, and were fun.
