"The staff was pleasant the rooms look much better but my room did not have a shower curtain or an ice bucket and the TV didn't work and it took me 2 hours to get someone up to my room to fix it "

"Unfortunately we weren't notified of the level of construction going on on our floor. We were woken during the early mornings by the construction on the other wing of the same floor. We were not told that our carpet would be a mess. The AC in our unit was very loud. They have a fridge in our unit that is enclosed in a cabinet that is making it sound like it is overheating. The shower had terrible water pressure. The drain didn't work. It was rather disappointing. We found all that stuff after traveling; we're kind of tired. We found most of it that morning or overnight. We tried to talk to the manager; nobody was there so we got to leave a note and I haven't been contacted yet."

"Interesting location - it's next to a Holiday Inn Convention Center hotel and a Hampton, easily reached off the highway, but not really close to anything else. There's a second-rate Italian restaurant across the lot which you can reach on foot, and the Holiday Inn has a limited bar/restaurant but for anything else you will have to drive. The elevator in the hotel (seems there is only one) is slow and gets backed up. Breakfast is included and very limited -- feels like eggs made from a mixture, a coffee machine with lots of flavored creams but no plain half and half so you better like your French Vanilla. The fruit and bread options were a little sad. It was a lovely warm evening when I was there but for some reason the pool was closed. That was one of the main reasons I chose this place so that was disappointing. The room was comfortable enough and seemed clean but I could hear people walking upstairs as the floors creak badly. The showers are low-flow models so you will get washed but maybe not quite refreshed. There were ample towels, a coffee machine (but no hot water kettle), and the bed was comfortable enough. So, all told, a reasonable, economical experience"
