Douglassits on a tributary of the River Lee in the CountyCork in the south of Ireland. It is a suburb of the city of Cork, whosecentre is around two miles away, and a desirable residential and shopping districtthat is known for its old village atmosphere.

Every Saturday, a thriving Farmer’s Market sets up stall in the DouglasCourt Shopping Centre, bringing around 30 food stands that sell everything fromlocal farm produce to fresh breads, organic goodies and homemade Irish specialities.

"Had a great 2 night stay at the Maryborough Hotel. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was very good but menu was curtailed because of staff shortages and supply issues mostly related to COVID.
