"Older style accommodation on magnificent property. Clean and comfortable room. The grounds and view was beautiful and it was special to see the deer enclosure. Disappointing there are no dining options at the property as it's out of town."

"Absolutely charming character property in a beautiful, laid back town - love, love, love!"

"Great and clean room, all staff were so supportive and accommodating, great bar and spa and pool"

"Grounds were in need of a little love."

"This was the perfect getaway for us. The extras in the kitchen were so appreciated. We will be back! "

"Clean relaxing nice walk to the river and pleasant owners"

"I loved my stay! The view is stunning and the place was beautifully put together. The fire bath was a real highlight. I would avoid going in mid-winter or mid-summer because it would get uncomfortable inside. It was already feeling just bearable on a 25 degree day. Make sure to bring matches to use the stove and firewood."

"Wonderful property- wonderful host. Will return one day to this lovely place!"

"Loved the location, had no connection with management while staying or after our stay. It all worked well, and it was great with all its facilities. The only downside was the torrential rain and the spouting that hadn’t been cleared, so loading the car was like walking through a waterfall."

"I don't really want to do a review as I would like to keep this place a secret. A fantastic little park with excellent amenities and right on the river. Will be back for sure!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very comfortable and the location was amazing — it had everything we needed to have a calm and relaxing time. We would definitely stay here again."

"Great and peacefull space to detox."

"Jody & Daniel make the getaway feel like a home away from home! There’s something to keep all ages busy from canoes to board games! "
