Frequently asked questions

What is the nightly rate for a B&B in Doonbeg?
Prices for B&Bs in Doonbeg often vary, but you can find a great deal from £76 with Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as location and the time of year. It usually costs more to stay at Doonbeg B&Bs over the weekend too. Travelers can find the best deals by being flexible with their dates, and by using our filters to sort prices from low to high.
When is the best time to book a B&B in Doonbeg?
The best time to book a B&B in Doonbeg is during the late spring to early summer months, particularly May to July, when the landscape is lush and vibrant. This peak season draws travellers seeking to immerse themselves in the stunning coastal scenery and engage in outdoor activities, such as golfing at the famous Trump International Golf Links or exploring the nearby Cliffs of Moher.

In June, you can expect mild temperatures averaging around 15-20°C, which create great conditions for sightseeing and enjoying the fresh Irish air. This month is particularly popular as it features longer daylight hours, allowing you to fully appreciate the area's breathtaking views and charming local culture.

For those looking for a more affordable visit, consider planning your trip in November. While this month may offer cooler temperatures and a quieter atmosphere, it also provides an opportunity to experience the authentic charm of Doonbeg, including traditional music sessions in local pubs and scenic coastal walks without the summer crowds.
What is the difference between a Doonbeg B&B and a hotel?
Every Doonbeg B&B has its own unique feel. Whether it's a cozy reading space or a sunlit breakfast nook to enjoy your morning cup of coffee, the quaint details are what make bed and breakfasts a home away from home. Travelers can look forward to personal touches, thoughtful amenities and of course a scrumptious breakfast at Doonbeg B&Bs.
