It’s located in a remote spot with the most stunning views. Although the villa is remote, Dominical the nearest town is only a 10 minute drive away , you need a 4x4 due to the rough terrain and very steep hill up to the villa . The villa itself was spotless , very well equipped and so spacious with a great layout for a family. The outdoor dining areas were perfect. The pool is perfect for cooling off and the ever changing views from the pool are some we will never forget, with toucans , lizards , hummingbirds and frogs visiting daily ! Our only (small) issues were the drains which were quite blocked so we had to keep unblocking these to use the shower and also there were no clear instructions for the rubbish . It was only collected once during our 2 week stay and with a large family we accumulated a lot of rubbish which was not great left outside in the heat and equally we didn’t want bags of rubbish piled up in the villa. Orlando from concierge was excellent from start to finish , organising us trips, taxis and everything else in between! Overall an amazing stay , we can’t wait to go back, this villa is the perfect get away among the Costa Rican wildlife ! ##### Kerry M. The 4x4 recommendation is no joke. We regretted not having gone food shopping beforehand. Once you are there, you won‘t want to leave. Beds, kitchen equipment, pool are all magnificent! We loved staying at Casa La Cascada with our family last week! We had so much fun playing in the pool and just enjoying the view! The house has everything you need and is very private, being located in a secure community. The area has a lot to offer close by, we enjoyed eating out at many of the local restaurants, visiting the Alturas Animal Refuge and Reptilandia, which is just around the corner.
