"The property is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I do not think the property is at 5 stars as the finishings in the room and attention to detail seemed rushed. Our phone and air were not working, the phone was fixed but we got tired about asking for help with the air as the room gets very muggy because there is not ventilation and a lot of windows. "

"This was a wonderful hotel. We were on the 5th floor and enjoyed a spacious balcony and great ocean views. The room was spacious and well appointed. The shower had a drenching rain shower head and great water pressure. Nice coffee/tea offerings and refridge including a few bottles of water, juice, and wine. Breakfast buffets were amazing with lots of variety; my wife is vegetarian and loved it! The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Eleni spent much time insuring we had great tips for site seeing. We didn't take advantage of the pool or spa but looked small but inviting. Great hotel. An unexpected jewel very near old town. Would love to stay again. "

"We had a good stay overall, with a few things worth noting. The staff were excellent. Petros handled a leak in our room brilliantly and upgraded us to a suite while it was fixed. The bar staff were also very attentive and friendly. The main downside was the spa setup. For a hotel marketed as a 5* hotel and spa, it was disappointing that all facilities come at an extra cost. The sauna and jacuzzi require a private booking (30 minutes, €25–30 per person). The jacuzzi was also only lukewarm and only seemed to heat up towards the end, which goes very quickly. It was also a shame the indoor spa pool was closed. I understand this is no longer advertised, but it would have made a big difference, especially in bad weather. That said, the massages were excellent and worth the €50–60 per person. The hotel is a mix of old and new. The older side shows wear, with stains on couches and cushions, but the beds were comfortable and housekeeping was great. The suite was lovely. I would recommend paying extra for newer rooms in the spa building. Breakfast had nice touches like local honey, also given as a check-out gift, but vegetarian options were limited. Indoor seating can be tight in colder months. Overall, great service but not quite a 5* spa experience."

"Lovely boutique hotel, situated within walking distance of some super beaches. The staff are friendly and the rooms cleaned during breakfast most days. The breakfasts are amazing, provided directly to your table with a super range of hot choices. we had some lovely lunches, whilst enjoying the soothing and relaxing ( heated) pool with waterfall! The traditional harbour at Chania is a short taxi ride away, providing some characterful restaurants and excellent shops.We also ate at an excellent taverna, 200 yards from the hotel. We loved staying at Mossa and would highly recommend it. "

"The staff were great, no fault to them at all… but the hotel and area surrounding were extremely drab. There is absolutely no vibe or energy at this hotel, the room has no decor, the shower was falling apart. Breakfast was gross. The neighborhood is pretty much the opposite of what you think Crete would be like… pretty much everything about the place was tired and sad. We regrettably booked 19 nights and spent about 14 of them at other hotels in way better areas. "
