"The room was fantastic and the staff very accommodating. The linens, bed and toiletries were amazing. Only drawback was roof repair on portion of chateau so arrival photo isn’t great. It did not impact our visit at all."

"This property was the perfect location in the Amboise area for my husband and I to use as a base for day trips to the area castles. I wanted to stay a little outside Amboise, and I couldn't believe this cottage was available. I felt like we were living a dream! This cottage is quiet and safe, but also close to Amboise, a supermarket, restaurants, wine tasting, etc. The owner is delightful! She left us a bottle of wine and fresh tomatoes from the local market. All kitchen appliances were easy to use. All the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The washer-dryer in the cottage was very convenient. We loved it and recommend it for families and couples. It was one of the highlights of our trip. "

The house is a beautifully renovated historic outbuilding on a large estate; the property was very well equipped with thoughtful attention given to every detail. But most importantly, the owners are exceptional hosts, and they went "over and above" to ensure that we had a satisfying and comfortable stay.
