About ten km from the sea, in an immense natural olive grove that from Dolcedo arrives, after a few km, in Lecchiore, is "La casetta", an INDEPENDENT house in old local stone, on two floors, with a small terrace overlooking the sea among the olive trees and the sky. It is a former stable, completely renovated inside in 2001, leaving the characteristic local stone on the outside: every detail has been carefully taken care of, given the originality of the house. Upstairs is the living area, with a large kitchen, a sitting room with TV and a beautiful terrace. The internal stairs lead to the floor below, where the sleeping area is located, with the bathroom with shower and the washing machine: a single bed + another pull-out bed welcome the children in a characteristic niche under the stairs, and a door leads to the separate double bedroom. The house is ideal for a COUPLE, or for a family (parents and two small children), pets are welcome. The price is all inclusive (wifi internet, private and reserved parking under the house, access to the swimming pool and bbq area), to bring your own SHEETS AND TOWELS. In winter (from October to March) the rental cost does not include WIFI, heating and electricity costs. The new relaxation oasis swimming pool, renovated in 2019 and renewed in 2022 with a new salt filtration system, stands among the olive trees and will be open until FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER: the pool measures 11 x 5 meters, with Roman steps access, and is surrounded by a vast lawn of 160 square meters, brand new, on two levels, fully equipped, where the new built-in barbecue is located, for tasty grills between one dip and another. All the access walls have been redone, using local stone. The swimming pool was conceived, designed and built to accommodate GUESTS OF OUR OTHER HOUSE that we rent in Lecchiore, adjacent to La Casetta, WITHOUT ANY SPACE PROBLEM: each family has an equipped and private area of ​​the large lawn. La Casetta is located at the end of the village of Lecchiore, on the edge of which there is a large wood: we are in the open countryside, among the olive trees which, in the winter season, produce one of the finest extra virgin olive oils in Italy. The carriage road, which passes 100 meters below the house, ends after 1 km, therefore the place is very quiet. A few steps from the house, the wood begins where, after a few minutes' walk, you come across splendid natural freshwater lakes, immersed in the greenest nature: the water is crystalline green, a swim is a must! On the coast (about 20 minutes by car) the new cycle path winds for 24 km overlooking the sea. from San Lorenzo to Ospedaletti: delightful little beaches and inlets, bars, games for children (bikes can be rented at the start in San Lorenzo). Imperia offers beautiful beaches, sand or stone, free or for a fee. Sanremo is 35km away, Montecarlo 70km away, Genoa and its famous Aquarium 120km away. Even the villages of our hinterland, of which Lecchiore belongs, are not to be missed: walks, historical and natural views, and last but not least, good trattorias, where you can eat well and drink better. Before leaving, don't forget to buy the precious extra virgin olive oil right under the house, at the sales point of your friend Nicola del Frantoio Asplanato, while for the local and genuine wine, you cannot miss a visit to San Benedetto, in a large vineyard 3 km from the sea (in Artallo, Imperia). Der große Swimmingpool, zu dem man in wenigen Schritten gelangt, bietet viel Platz für weitere Aktivitäten. Von der kleinen Terrasse im Haus aus sieht man das Meer. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Pool liegt leicht erhöht gegenüber und man hat ihn meist für sich alleine, da nur eine weitere Partei ihn ebenfalls nutzen darf. Ans Meer ca. 25 min mit dem Auto auf sehr kurviger und enger Straße. Das Häuschen ist Ausgangspunkt für tolle Wanderungen und Radtouren. Die Matratze im Doppelbett ist eine Doppelmatratze, was für die selbst mitzubringenden Laken wissenswert ist. Ein toller Urlaub! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. ##### Stephanie P. Wir haben den Pool sehr genossen und konnten richtig entspannen. Auch die Umgebung bietet mit Auto viele Möglichkeiten für Erkundungen. Cervo hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Marta war bestens. Einzig die Straße ab Dolcedo war herausfordernd und hat uns ins Schwitzen gebracht. Nous avons apprécié la communication fluide de Marco avant et et pendant le séjour. Et merci à Elio pour ses fruits qu'il nous servait pendant le goûter près de la piscine, cueillis par ses soins. La caseta est toute fois éloignée de tout dans les montagnes. Les chambres fraîches situées à l'étage en dessous permettent d'être au frais la nuit tombée. Il faut compter 20mns de trajet pour être à imperia, la ville la plus proche, avec un chemin compliqué si vous avez une grosse voiture. Bon séjour nous concernant. ##### Rémi D. Die Ruhe und das sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Heim von Marco hat uns sehr angesprochen. Marco ist ein äussert sorgevoller und liebenswerter Gastgeber und zu jeder Zeit bereit, auf allfällige Fragen einzugehen. Er ist sympathisch und sehr hilfsbereit. Schade, dass der Pool noch nicht bereit war. Wir wurden allerdings vorgängig darüber informiert. Trotzdem, mit Pool, wäre das Angebot noch lobenswerter gewesen. ##### Sonja B. Marco met us on arrival and showed us around. He was in touch in the week in case of any problems, but we didn't have any. The house is very cute but well equipped and great for a family of four. The upper level has the kitchen/diner/small lounge and terrace and then downstairs are the bedrooms and bathroom. We loved the peace and quiet both on the terrace and at the pool (despite it being a shared pool with 2 other houses we more often than not had it to ourselves). A definite highlight was walking to and swimming in the 'Laghetti'. Plein de vieux outils et accessoires attirent l'oeil, parfois avec humour comme la plus petite fenêtre du monde...Piscine et barbecue à portée de la main font que nous sommes peu descendus à la mer d'autant que la route est étroite et sinueuse et demande quelques jours d'adaptation. Nous avons rencontré des italiens, charmants avec qui nous avons sympathisé et passė des soirées inoubliables! Pizza et Limoncello à volonté 😊. Marco venait régulièrement s'assurer que tout allait bien et Elio nous a offert des fruits de son jardin. De très bons restaurants dans la région : Aqua marina à Imperia, Federico à Alassio et surtout pour le dernier soir, DaLalla à Dolcedo, à ne pas manquer. Merci Marco et Annalisa pour ces deux semaines au paradis. Nous n'avions pas envie de partir. Laurence et Patrick. ##### patrick w. "Nous sommes tombés sous la charme de la Cassetta, qui allie simplicité et authenticité. La piscine est très belle, la vue splendide, et le village d''un calme très reposant. La villa fait partie d''un petit bourg, entouré d''oliviers, quasiment sans voitures : idéal pour les enfants et quel calme (sauf les cloches de l''église, mais on s''y habitue très vite)! Il y a plein de balades à faire. Par exemple, à 30 minutes de marche, on trouve un petit ruisseau niché dans les collines avec de tous petits lacs naturels, ce qui donne un autre possibilité de baignade très "nature", mais beaucoup plus fraiche ! La maison est petite, mais le balcon et terrasses de la piscine donnent l''occasion de vivre dehors. Ses murs en pierre lui donne un fraicheur agréable le soir. En plus le propriétaire Marco est très sympa. Nous lui avons dit qu''il faut un lave-vaisselle... peut-être nous écoutera-t-il ? En tout cas, nous allons revenir, c''est sûr !" ---
