"Do not stay at this hotel. When I arrived, they did not have my reservation, but they let me in anyway. The room they gave me had ants crawling all over the bed. They made a half-hearted attempt to spray the floor, but they ran out of bug spray. I told them I would make it work because it was almost midnight and I had just arrived from the US. "We had a wonderful stay at Monzonte. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made our experience even better. Breakfast every morning was excellent, with a wide selection including fresh juices and fruits, breads, rice, different meat options, eggs, and soup. The on‑site restaurant also offered great lunch and dinner options at very reasonable prices. We especially loved that we could enjoy drinks and meals by the pool. The property has two pools with plenty of seating areas, whether you prefer the sun or the shade. Our room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We also appreciated the transportation service to and from the airport (available for an extra fee). It was very convenient, especially when travelling to and from Managua’s airport. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Mozonte and would happily return and recommend."
