Park Lane, the perfect spot to enjoy Dingle in style. A three bedroom, three bathroom house a minutes walk from Dingle harbour, it’s in the middle of all the action but on a quiet residential street. This house has been restored to the highest standard with beautiful wooden shutters on the sash windows, contemporary furniture, a cool fitted booth in the classic kitchen, a wet room, a TV in every room and with a snug at the back of the house there is plenty of space for all the family to relax. The courtyard at the back is the perfect sun trap with a gas BBQ. Spaces Bedrooms There are two double bedrooms upstairs that are light and fresh with wardrobes, lamps, bedside lockers and shuttered sash windows that overlook Gray’s Lane. The master bedroom is decorated in a warm grey tone with two large windows, its own ensuite, a kingsize bed, lovely antique furniture and a fantastic view of the park. Bathrooms Park Lane has three contemporary bathrooms. Downstairs there is a grey tiled wet room with wall mounted WC. Upstairs there is a large family bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet tiled from floor to ceiling. The main bedroom has an ensuite also with a shower, toilet and sink. Reading room The calming grey reading room at the back of the cottage is a great space for some quiet time with big comfy couch’s and two large shuttered windows and a wall mounted TV with a separate satellite if you want to watch the match in peace. Living area The main living area is structured by the luxurious corner couch which hugs the wood burning stove, with a dining table for 6 plus a fitted booth in the kitchen area there is plenty space for all. Welcome package was very nice and unexpected. Appliances (dishwasher/washer/dryer) we’re a little difficult to operate. We couldn’t figure out how to operate the dishwasher. The proximity to downtown for shopping and eating were great. The lack of a/c could have been overcome by having screens on either doors or windows so we could leave them open. This apartment is in the perfect location- close to all the shops and pubs but just off the main areas so it has very little foot traffic. For people who like to sleep in though, just a warning that there is currently construction work next door that starts right at 7am during the week. The apartment is very spacious and clean, good for a group traveling together. The washer/dryer combo seems finicky. I would count on hang-drying your clothes if you need to do a load of laundry, they will air dry faster than the machine can dry them. Otherwise, all the amenities were in good condition and they left us a nice goodie basket :) The facility manager is very nice and communicative! Two other heads up: The location posted on the Vrbo site will bring you a little further up the street. Look for the "Park Place" placard on the door to find the right apartment. Our teenager was delighted when we checked in- loved the deep comfy carpets and convenient location which meant he could easily get out and about. We also had a grandparent with us and it was very easy for her to get around.
