The Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara is a great hotel. This was my third stay and it was just at as enjoyable as the first two. Mr Rakibul at the front desk is a very professional and helpful man, as are all the staff I had interactions with. Their command of the English language is amazing and so I never had to repeat anything. Rooms and spotlessly clean, no bad smells, and well equipped. The location is perfect also. The beds are so comfortable I missed dinner on two nights, and slept right through.

When is the best time to go to Dhaka?
The best time to go to Dhaka is during the dry, cooler months of October to March.
During these months, the weather is more pleasant with lower humidity and milder temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This makes exploring the city's sights like the Lalbagh Fort and Ahsan Manzil much more comfortable without the intense heat and heavy rainfall of the monsoon season.
For those planning to explore the city's markets and historical sites, these months offer the most comfortable conditions. The pleasant weather is ideal for walking around areas like Old Dhaka, which can be quite bustling, or enjoying a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes.
