Ocean Block Single Family Home - Open floor plan & pet friendly!

Perfect location - from kitchen or front deck you can see both the Ocean, sunrise and waves as well as the Bay, sunset and the boats. Since its oceanside, you don't have to cross Rt 1 with your beach gear. Easy peasy to go back and forth to the beach all day since its only ~100 yds away. Same street as the Hyatt, Gold Leaf, Nalu and Rusty Rudder.


Wonderful beach house feel with 20 foot A-frame ceilings on the second floor and natural wood interior. Kitchen opens to a second floor deck with great views of the ocean and bay. Large rear deck ideal for eating crabs, BBQ get togethers or just sunbathing. All new flooring through out the house.

The large open second floor is good for just relaxing or hanging out with a group of people. Large new kitchen with two refrigerators and all utensils. Beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace. Wifi access, smart tv and digital cable. New Hot tub.

First floor includes large master bedroom which has a new king bed, updated private bath and a sleeping extension with a queen, bunk beds, and trundle. The other two bedrooms each have new queen beds.

Spacious outdoor shower under back deck. Plenty of storage for kayaks, surfboards and fishing poles.

Note: House number used to be 16A and with the 911 updates the number has been changed.

Our family enjoyed our week at the beach! We appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times. Even when it was too windy for a walk, we could see the bay and the ocean from the kitchen. Coming in from the cold to a fireplace and hot tub made the winter beach walks worth it.

Another wonderful vacation at 14 Dickinson Avenue. Such a lovely family beach home. We had warming fires in the living room fireplace and relaxing times in the hot tub. The location is great. Just steps to the beach and the bay is just across the street. Close to our favorites: Dewey Beer Company, Lupo Kitchen, Mama Maria’s, Half Full, and the Lighthouse Bar! Jen even has elevated dog dishes for our pup! We hope to return during warmer weather, but we do like the off-season vibe and no crowds.

Property is in a great location. Problems are dirty dishes in the cupboards; we had to clean inside of one of the ovens before use, oven knob fell off, mouse poop in utensil drawer, dishwasher soap despiser door broken-missing, dish washer did not clean dishes, grill was extremely dirty cleaned as best we could. The carpets turned our socks and feet black. Door to master bedroom broken. Microwave was unplugged when we arrived, found the exhaust fan does not shut off. Dishes are cracked chipped. Old dirty rusted stained furniture on front deck. Back deck was great.

Wonderful Week!

My wife and I enjoyed evening fires in the wood burning fireplace, morning moments (and a couple late nights!) in the hot tub, and walks on the beach. The location was incredible! Just a half block from the ocean pathway to the beach. The views of the sunrise and sunsets from the kitchen and dining area were beautiful! The grill on the back deck was new, as was the kitchen sink and live room couches & chairs. We had such a nice relaxing week. We hope to book another week later this year. Thank you!

Golden Stay

We were in town for the Dewey Golden Jubilee. Our golden retriever loved the property -- of course, so did we. Everything with this house was exactly as described. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. It was also centrally located to all of the activities. The weekend could not have been better. Looking forward to staying here again when we come down for the next Jubilee.

This property was great. Having never been to Dewey Beach I was unsure what to expect. But the house is a 50 yard walk to the beach, across the street from a marina, and walking distance to everything you need. House was clean, beds comfortable and checking in was easy. Had a couple questions for homeowner and she responded immediately. Would consider staying here with my family in the future.

Great location

The location of this place was excellent. The kitchen was spacious and the living area very pleasant. Plenty of bed choices. I was not happy that the hot tub was not clean enough to use. There were a lot of ants from the moment we arrived, which was annoying. And the furniture is quite worn. We still enjoyed our stay, and it would be excellent with some added attention.
