Family trip

Overall, it was a good experience. The host was very responsive. The kids loved the rooms, basement, and backyard. There was easy access to all the touristy stuff (e.g., zoo, riverfront, etc.).

Family Trip

The house was perfect for our family. We had over twenty people, ranging from ages 4 to 87 years old. We had plenty of space to move throughout the house comfortably, and the kids had a play area in the basement and outside. The beds were comfy, and the house was very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need, including toiletries, and items you may have forgotten. Our family had a blast. It was a wonderful, memorable time to be together as we supported one of our family members who played for the Houston Roughnecks.

Fun weekend for family and friends.

Friendly neighbors. Plenty of places to sleep. Playroom was nice, though pictures give the impression that the pool table is a regular full size pool table instead of just a tabletop size (we would have loved that! - I was envisioning tournaments at night when we got back). Main thing lacking was being able to cook for the crew. Plenty of plates, cups. Not enough silverware or pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. large enough to cook for the amount of people the house sleeps. Otherwise we had a great weekend.

The property was clean. Limited amount of family room and dining spaces. The house is 90% bedrooms and that is it. Not much of anything. Bath room facilities were minimal - no hooks to hang dry clothes, needs a lot of improvements, looks like a dorm bathroom not a luxury one. bedroom linens were kind of old and shabby looking.

Good place for a family

We enjoyed our stay while in town for the zoo! The backyard and basement were great play spaces for the kids. Check in and out were very smooth and property manager was very responsive.

We were here for our family reunion

The owner was wonderful. We had everything we needed and more. The children loved the place. The beds were comfortable and we had way more room that we expected. We had plenty of fast food places to pick from and the grocery store was not far away. I would not hesitate to book this place again.

Pictures can be deceiving

This place was nothing like the pictures!!!! This place was so not worth the money. I do NOT recommend anyone to stay in this place if you like nice things or cleanliness. The rugs smelled mildew, the bathrooms were very small and not compatible for any of your toiletries. Please don’t spend your money on this piece of trash!!!! It definitely needs a new makeover!!!!! No Joke with All Honesty!!! Please don’t let the pictures fool you like it did my family and I!!!!!!!!!

Updated Home

The home has many updates with new flooring and very comfortable beds. Our group had twelve adults and we had plenty of beds and bedroom space. We didn’t even use the bedroom in the basement. The showers were wonderful. Lots of water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable home. One member of our group said it was the most comfortable bed he’d ever and slept in! Two parking spots out front and plenty of street parking. The process of checking into the home was easy and problem free. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. The neighborhood felt unsafe. Three members of our group took an Uber from the airport. The Uber driver told them three different times to be careful because the neighborhood is not safe. The house has an alarm set on the front door that dings anytime the front door opens. The couple who stayed in the jacuzzi tub suite suggested a mirror and some wall hooks in the bathroom. The home supplied soap, shampoo and toothbrushes and toothpaste! The washing machine worked great. We did not use the back yard but the back deck is amazing and would accommodate a very large group with slides and jungle gym for little folks. The home met all our needs. The neighborhood was concerning.

Out of state wedding

We had a large group for a wedding. We were all comfortable. A few suggestions would be to have a can opener and a kitchen towel. It wasn’t a big deal for us. We had friends coming later that brought those items. Thank you so much for sharing your property

Great getaway

We needed a central location for a small family gathering. This place was right for Us. I would have gave 5 stars for cleaning but the waxed floors was very slippery. I would strongly advice Crocs for everyone to avoid falling. Also, one trash can in bathroom had trash upon arrival. Plenty of space for everyone. Basement has some games for entertainment. The jacuzzi works great! Very small kitchen counter space so bring cutting board to put on table to prepare large meals. Great communication with the host, very nice and fast response. I highly recommend this home.
