"Really good hotel in a stunning location, staff were super friendly and the buffet breakfast was good and well stocked. We had the Campos des Sport room which had a lovely balcony overlooking the park, with stunning sun rise views. The area is also stunning, but very hilly which wasnt a problem for us, but maybe for others. All in all a cracking hotel"

"We were lucky enough to happen across this gem when searching for a quiet location close to Santander that would accommodate us and our two small dogs in a hurry. "Excelente service, only stay one night but we were so happy with the hotel. The only criticism is that the shower door did not close properly so some water came out when taking a shower. The floor around the shower cubicle was damage, so I’m guessing it’s being like that for a while. But we really recommend the hotel and we hope to stay again next time we are in the city. "

Our air conditioning wasn’t working when we arrived and they came within the hour to fix it. Fun fact: the hotel turns off the air conditioning from 0200 to 0600 ish, so if you wake up warm, that’s why. "

"I would have rated the property much higher save for two issues. The good part was that the property was well located for us near major routes. It was spacious and clean. The bad part was that we didn't have any heat for the first half of our stay when outside temperature was 2 degrees. The other problem was check-in which supposed to be from 4-8pm but there was no-one there. After an hour we had to have someone call as their message service wasn't working. 15 minutes later someone arrived...

"This is part of the bar on the high street. All the locals use it and there is much shouting and door slaming at the end of the evening. Then very quiet. Staff were very helpful despite my lack of Spanish. "

"The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms to the left, to the right, above and below. If anyone chooses this hotel to use the Spa - don’t be fooled. You have to pay extra and the use is timely limited. All in all it has a alternative hippie charm. It was clean though. But not necessarily something I’d recommend "

Stylish Santander stay with secure parking
"A very warm welcome at the ArtHotel when we arrived from the ferry - we’d requested a parking garage space for our bike and reception could not have been more helpful with advice about the locality and a town map. Our room was modern and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent in terms of choice and also freshness & hygiene. We will definitely stay again. We loved the quirky modern art styling throughout the hotel and were delighted to meet Manolo, the hotel cat."
