I spent 2 weeks traveling in Spain, and out of my 6 stays, this was the best experience overall. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a short meeting to discuss recommendations about the area (with maps), which was very helpful! I can tell the staff takes pride in their hotel and the area they live in. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, the property was beautiful, and I noticed small considerate details every time the room was cleaned. The room was immaculate, the common area was lovely with interesting reading material and the host could not have been more helpful and interesting to talk with. Also a delicious breakfast and the Posada cannot be too highly recommended. Our room was clean and comfortable with an updated bathroom. Our host was friendly and informative and made good suggestions for dining locally. We were about 15 minutes from Santander so very easy getting there and back.
