"We had booked into this property through Expedia only to be told on arrival after a very long journey that they had no rooms for us or booking and in fact the manager mentioned he had never heard of Expedia !! All of this after the full money was paid in advance for 3 night stay for group of seven. "I urge all travelers to think twice before booking Memo’s Beach. On the exact day of our arrival, the hotel abruptly cancelled our room, leaving us stranded in Nilaveli . Leaving guests stranded is bad enough, but breaking a promise, hiding behind a silent phone, and ghosting stranded customers is deeply unprofessional and deceitful. Do not trust their bookings or their word. Avoid this place and book with a reliable hotel down the beach instead."
