"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. "Property is beautiful but could use a little more attention to cleaning the common areas. Owner was delightful. Our suite was amazing but bathroom is very dark and needs more lighting. "

"what a find clean and tidy inside a bit dated but nothing to worry about. Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. The site could do alot more perhaps a bit if entertainment etc and maybe a møre better takeaway although this didn’t stop is having a good holiday."

Les espaces étaient propres et bien entretenus, le salon et la cuisine sont très conviviales, l’extérieur était aussi très agréable.La concierge s’est montrée très disponible tout au long du séjour.Seul bémol, le soleil n’a pas toujours été au rendez-vous et par conséquent nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine non chauffée (bien précisé sur l’annonce)."

"It’s an old building… with an overgrown garden like an haunted mansion. First impression was to run… seemed like a horror movie set. Old furniture with dantesque paintings in this dark manor. BUT… we stayed as was only a motorway stop. Dinner was in the middle of the garden… and food was AMAZING. Room was super specious and super clean… with all the accessories. Breakfast was generous and well presented in a room from 1830!! Great value for money… and super well connected to lovely locations...
