I tried moving it closer to the bed but the cords were not long enough. I was also confused that they were calling the Econolodge a Mosque of Amina. Made it a little uncomfortable. I arrived early at 2:00\. They said I had to wait until 3:00 to check in. I understand they need to clean the rooms, but surely they could have made one room available instead of making me wait another hour. I also inquired about switching to a room with two queen beds and was told none were available, but I was offered what was described as an “ideal rate” for another room for two nights. While we were at breakfast, I received a call from the hotel stating they had charged an additional $600 for one night, and the desk representative did not honor the two-night arrangement as discussed. Had I known this, I would have stayed in the original room. To make matters worse, the room itself was unacceptable. There was blood on the pillow upon arrival, the room smelled strongly of smoke despite being a non-smoking room, and there was visible mold and mildew in the bathroom. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience due to both poor communication and lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend staying here."
