"The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. We will definitely rent again if given the opportunity. Only 15 minutes or so from Pierre and the drive is beautiful. We had a family of six, four adults and twin grandchildren (11 years old). Also, the host was responsive and friendly! I would highly recommend this vacation rental, you will not be disappointed. "

"This house was perfect for our family. We brought our kids and dogs for a hunting trip. The garage was convenient to leave the dog trailer in. We loved the yard (our dogs did too) and that we could walk to the Outpost Lodge for lunch and to the lake. There’s also some really nice walking trails close by overlooking the lake.. so beautiful. The fire pit was also great and our kids made s’mores multiple times. The house had everything you needed so you didn’t have to run to the grocery store your first day there. To top it off we had a very successful hunting trip! The only thing I’ll say that could have been better is there could be more space inside for guest’s belongings. The master bedroom closet was locked to keep the owner’s personal belongings in and there was no chest of drawers to put clothes, so we just kept our clothes in suitcases all week. Another room was similar. It’s not a big enough issue to lower from 5 stars. We loved every second of our stay! Thank you for being a great host, Don!"
