"Conveniently located in Hamburg. It's close to many restaurants, shops, and even a museum (Kuntshalle). It's located in a quieter area but close enough to everywhere else that it doesn't feel isolated. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. Marzia, in particular, was very helpful when we checked in. My biggest complaint was the loud bathroom noises coming from the pipes intermittently throughout the night. "Located near easily accessible transportation however the room was very small and we would have like to have a refrigerator to be able to keep our medications cold. The room was a bit dark due to where it was situated but as it was February and was a place to sleep and not to stay in during the day it wasn't a problem. "Room was small, but cleverly designed to make the most of it, and at a reasonable price. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Front desk clerk was quite personable and helpful. Room service came every day and did a good job. There are several good restaurants as well as a Aldi grocery store close by. Downtown (St. Pauli docks, eg) Hamburg is a straight shot on the subway, which is an easy two block walk away. Free parking. Breakfast was average for 10 euros or so per person."

"Lovely hotels with wonderful rooms and all the basic amenities. Would recommend staying as long as you like exercise because the key cards demagnetize if you look at them wrong — they must be praised and cajoled and need never be near anything that lets off the slightest electronic signal or you’ll be back downstairs to rekey the card yet again — 3 night stay and I think I had to do it about 8 times this trip. Staff is wonderful and lovely and the sushi is divine "

"Perfect place for solo travelers! Facilities are super new and clean and the staff are very friendly. I wouldn’t recommend the solo room if you have large bags/lots of luggage but overall my experience with just a large backpack was great. The shower situation was also better than expected for being separate in the basement. Generally exceeded my expectations! Great sleep too."

A little Gem
"We travel to and from Denmark and stay here to facilitate use of the Gluckstadt ferry. The welcome is excellent and the restaurant superb. The continental breakfast is extensive and tasty and a pot of coffee is provided. There are a number of sister hotels too. All in all not one to miss. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed."
