![One of the best beaches we have visited in the Philippines. The sand is white and pink and powdery. To get to the island, you need to hire a boat from the Port of Matnog. The boat will take you island hopping. One of the stops is a fish sanctuary. And your final destination is the Subic Beach on the Calintaan Island - where you can stay overnight or stay for the day. Your boat will pick you up and take you back to the port. We rented a room by the beach, some opted to hire a tent. "I almost loved the place except that it did not give me a refund for an extra day I booked by mistake. They also did not say it with kindness but with an attitude! This is the first time I was not refunded. Sad. Second, the room is a bit cramped for three beds. They also did not offer free breakfast and 220 peso breakfast is expensive for a very small serving. Like a breakfast of daing na bangus was just 1/4 piece of the bangus. In other hotels they serve the whole bangus. I also ordered...

"I stayed in 4 different hotels including a Lower Penthouse apartment during my holiday in the Philippines and I can honestly say Ninong's was by far the best. The room was good, clean and spacious, the pool was very good, fabulous for a night time swim but the breakfast blew me away, tons of choices something for everyone and it was hot, unlike many places where it's barley warm. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was not perfect was the tv, could'nt get it to work but this in no way effected my opinion of this hotel. Transfers from the airport are available at a very good price no rip off's here . Very happy with my stay and as a frequent visitor to Legazpi I will deffinatly be staying at this hotel again. 10/10"
