"What a jewel of a property; amazing grounds, spotless rooms and excellent food were high points. Expected three star quality and was astonished upon check in. Excellent pool with sharp poolside service. Hotel is located adjacent to Udawalawe National Park Excellent safari coordinated by hotel, fully facilitated from start to finish. The restaurant staff was particularly kind and hospitable - run, don't walk to the hotel."

What a gem this hotel is, the spa treatments are fab and even though we didn't pay for meals to be included we have eaten most of our meals here, lovely!! "We had an amazing stay at Mansala Safari House. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the house itself is clean and comfortable. The hosts arranged two safaris for us which were both excellent; the driver picked us up directly from the accommodation and was very knowledgeable about the park. We had the car completely to ourselves as well. The hosts provided breakfast in the morning, and also gave us water bottles and coffees for the safaris. During our second day we were reading on the lovely terrace and the host even came up with a fresh mango for us which was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone - lovely hosts and a great space!"
