"I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! "The property is wonderful with a great facilities!!! The villa was very clean, sofa bed was ready and the bed was very comfortable. AC or fan is in the rooms which is I founded very convenient. Beach towels are provided, so you don’t have to take from home. Bathroom is very clean, plenty of branded toiletries (smells amazing). "What a place!! We stayed as a family of 4 (2 children 10/12) in an Oceanfront view room. Large double bed and 2 day beds for the kids! Clean and well appointed with a daily freshen up! We had the best time. So relaxing! A much calmer/quieter stretch of coastline (away from the busyness of Hiriketiya/ Weligama etc. Nice infinity pool to laze about in and plenty of sun loungers/cabanas for sunning, reading, drinking. Ocean, beach and waves were amazing, however, there are some serious rips/currents in the water so you may only be able to paddle around. No water sports. You can however do plenty of day trips (fishing), Udawalawa (to see the Elephants), to other beaches where you can surf/snorkel, cooking classes and Galle (old fort town - with hundreds of shops, cafe’s and restaurants. There is a good breakfast included in the cost of your room and a nice menu for lunch and evening meals. Plus there is a lovely family run restaurant across the street serving the best homemade currys and fish (caught by the family), plus a few others in walking distance. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help! We will be back! "

"Stayed at this hotel for one night. Went to another hotel in Yala. Was not pleased with what I saw. My family and I turned around and went back to stay here for another night. Very clean hotel, very polite staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Weerawila. Keep up the great work!!! :) "

"My family and I stayed for one night at the Hantara Hotel as we needed nearby accommodation for our National Park safari. The setting of the hotel is absolutely stunning - in amongst nature with the wildlife, plenty of areas to walk around the hotel or sit and relax in a hammock. The facilities were comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. Oscar really made our stay enjoyable - he was very attentive, a really friendly and accommodating manager. The service and quality of the food were really stand out - Oscar and the chef are a credit to the hotel! The only downside for us was that the pool was being renovated while we were staying there, so we couldn't go for a cooling dip after the safari, but we would most definitely go back to Hantara Hotel and hope to do so soon!!"
