"I booked and prepaid for a 10-day stay at Hotel Europa, but I left after just one night and forfeited the rest of my reservation because the conditions were unacceptable. The room was not just outdated—it was dirty and poorly maintained to a level that felt unsanitary. The mattress was visibly stained, the furniture was covered in dust and residue, and multiple surfaces looked like they had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The bathroom had rust, grime, and buildup in several areas, and there was a persistent moldy smell throughout the room. Even the basic structure of the room felt neglected, including damaged fixtures and a door that did not feel secure. The overall condition made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe staying there. Because of this, I had to find another hotel immediately, which caused unnecessary stress and additional expense during my trip. I have included photos to document the condition of the room at the time of my stay. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid booking here, especially for longer stays. The listing does not accurately reflect the reality of the accommodations."

"The staff were delightful, but too much of this property is just surface polish. Spotty wi-fi that leaves guests sitting in the hallways or having to go to the lobby just to connect. Superficial cleaning - rather than replace used glassware, they simply rinse it in the bathroom sink and stick it back. And a severe lack of electrical outlets - we had to unplug the lamps in the room in order to charge phones or a laptop. The neighborhood is "just okay" - it's not bad, but it's maybe a block or so outside of good. Breakfast was good, though they can be a little slow on restocking things that have run out. And having one saltshaker and one peppermill for the entire breakfast room seems a bit stingy."

"This is a thoroughly delightful hotel. The rooms are spacious and updated, with large windows. The bathroom is beautifully equipped with a deluge shower and lovely marble tile. Bedding and towels are plush and new. The air conditioning functioned perfectly during a hot spell. The staff are kind and helpful. My only suggestion is that the minibar, where I stored my bottled water during my stay, is not turned up very high, so the water was cool rather than cold. A very small thing in a wonderful stay. I'd stay here again in a minute!"
