![I heard years ago tales of a giant glacier on the border of bc and Alaska. For a long time I knew I had to see it for myself, this summer I made it happen. 5 days, 40 hours of driving, 4 tanks of gas, 3800km of highway(some good some bad), 10 litres of coffee and hundreds of photos of one of the most amazing areas on earth. This is one of my favourites, it’s a self portrait high on an unnamed mountain (which I did summit) across from the mighty salmon glacier. "My sister and I took a road trip all the way to Alaska and we stopped here on our way back to the states. We were tired, grumpy, and all around in pretty sour moods, but that turned around completely when we got to this place. The owner was so, so kind and welcoming and the facilities were perfect. They were clean, comfortable, and very inviting. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come back and stay here again."
